Why don't we just celebrate everyone's journey, whether they're achieving big wins or facing everyday challenges. Take care my friend!
Yeah it's her chess not that she's an e-girl with a bunch of loser incels (and sociopathic tech bros) for fans.
Good🎉
🙌
Great video 👍
Thank you 👍
Nice montage!
Thanks! Hope to make another one like this in November 😁
@@ChessofLegends awesome! Hopefully he wins!
I think he does have better chances than Nepo, Hikaru or Fabi would have... Ding is not ready for this kind of game coming his way
@@ChessofLegends hikaru is very strong as well even in pressure just fucked up against vidit tho
Agreed, but I wouldn't have choose this opening sequence against Gukesh in round 14... don't you think that he should have focused in the over the board game instead of double dipping with online gaming at the same time during candidates?
India has no answer to the roar of the young Tigers of Tamil Nadu 🎉
Pragg and Gukesh are really showing off India's talent for this year Candidates... can't wait to see the outcome!
Cool
What's your prediction for Candidates?
I'll probably go for Caruana, because he is the most stable one from the candidates, but Nepo will also be a top contender😊
My bet is on Nepo... he seems more in control of his strategy than the others... but maybe Gukesh could pull of a nice surprise! See you on the final!
Ding Liren would probably perform better against Nepo than others like Gukesh or Vidit etc. because he is familiar with Nepo's strategies as they have faced off against each other very often
Agreed... but I must admit that I haven't been impressed by Ding Liren recently; I think it will still be interesting to see the faceoff who ever of the candidates take a shot a it
very well made video! Subscribed
Thank you so much! Let me know if there is a specific game or player you would like to see a video of and we'll do our best to do a proper rendition of your request!
what's the app that shows 3d view?
No app; the animation is done in unreal and the render is done via movie render queue... the animation at the end of the video is using the same 3d model, with an animated camera on the board level. Did you watch the video til the end?
Great analysis. Loved the visuals as well. Nice voice over. Thank you.
@zenforge2709 I'm really happy that you liked the video; it's the first trial of the new layout, so I'm also very pleased that the visuals met expectations. I'm always looking to improve and provide content that you all enjoy, so I'd love to hear your thoughts. Is there anything specific you'd like to see more of in future videos? I'm a man of my words, so if you request it, I'll post it... proof is present in the comments of my other video when I've been asked to make a video about Juan Manuel Bellon Lopez... Let me know, and thanks again for your support!
Much too fast commentary and much too fast game shown as played
Thanks for the comment; if you have a chance take a look at the video about Juan Manuel Bellon Lopez (Anna's father) the pace is slower for the commentary and the action presented.
nice recap! Not a fan of the voice-over style. So, no sub from me.
Thanks for the comment; if you have a chance take a look at the video about Juan Manuel Bellon Lopez (Anna's father) we have used an actual person instead of AI generated voice over and we won't go back to Ai VO for our upcoming videos!
Check out our new Video! Anna vs Anish!
Anna is only 21, she will only improve
I think so too! She just announced today that she will be competing at the Reykjavik Open. Are you going to follow her games?
Good one!
Re-watching the original video you timing played a crucial part of the endgame, but still Wesley and Alice are making a great team... prediction: So Lee vs Nakamura Rozman in final
Liked the picture of the two...
It was taken when they announced that Gukesh, Pragg, Abdusattorov would Join the 2024 Grand Chess Tour
@@ChessofLegendsThat's Cool... It reminded me of couple of films where there's Two Heroes leading....
Why have fake Facetuned and AI images for the thumbnail?
Did you click on it?
@@ChessofLegends The end justifies the means, huh
My question was mainly about, why did you click on it in the first place?
This is very nice game, I've watched it on Anna's channel while ago when her father is analyzing. And also, this is very nice video. I am sure you have invested a lot of work into this. It is beautiful to look at - graphically it is great looking. Commentary is also very well done - it all makes sense and she has nice voice and pleasant speech. Introduction bit is perfect. This is the only 3D chess board video channel which I think is worth watching. I've seen some other 3D chess board videos on YT and none caught my attention for more than few seconds. In this particular field you are far the best from what I've seen. That said, I have still the same problems with this as I commented in the other video of yours. I simply do not understand well enough what is going on on board in 3D view. 2D is much clearer and easier to understand to me and i think for most people. I know you have 2D board there too, but it is miniature. Also, I would really like to see some variations. I think those bits like "here black could have done this, because..." or "interesting option was that, that and that..." are what makes chess videos interesting. Anyway, I don't want to sound too critical. I just wanna explain what I like about chess videos and why I am watching those I am watching. Kind of prefer visual clarity before graphical appeal and i like deeper analysis. But for sure there are lots of people who have it the other way around. Big plus of your format is ofc that it takes roughly 5 mins to cover a game, which might be for some just perfect. And in any case, most important is if you like what you are doing after all. So thx for nice video and good luck in future!
Thanks alot for your feedback and for taking the time to share your insights.. don't worry about too critical, that's how we can improve... and what you're writing makes sense instead of just whining! I'm really glad to hear you enjoyed the video and found the graphical style and commentary to your liking. It means a lot to know that the effort put into making these videos stands out for our audience. I totally get your point about the 3D board view. It's a fine balance trying to make the content visually appealing while keeping it as clear and understandable as possible. It's suggestions like these that help me think about how to tweak the content to make it even better for everyone. I'm curious, are there any specific games or moments in chess that you'd love to see analyzed in future videos? Again, thanks for sticking with the channel and for your support. Looking forward to hearing more of your thoughts and ideas! Good luck with your chess journey too!
Great that you honoured my request to analyse a game of this great, modest and very sympathetic Grandmaster! Thank you! :-)
I'm glad you appreciated this rendition of this epic game featuring such a remarkable Grandmaster! Brutal blunder
A quick resign also, at this level the margin for error is so thin... I thought Anish would make the final the final on the tiebreaks; what do you think of Wei Yi victory?
@@ChessofLegends yea this tournament is full of surprises. Wei Yi played incredible in the final round. His openings seem a little passive to me, but once he gets going, he spots everything tactically. In the final, I think on move 17 Vidit's position was already dead lost haha. Just like in this game, 1 blunder or a few mistakes make it very difficult to come back from. And Vidit kinda screwed himself with his opening choice.
@@ChessofLegends what did you think?
Absolutely, Wei Yi was on fire through the final round. His starting moves might seem a bit laid back, but when he gets into the groove, he catches everything on the tactical side. Gukesh, always up for a challenge, hits back hard, creating a lively setup right after the opening moves. Despite Gukesh's solid defense, he just couldn't withstand the continuous pressure.
is this AI? it is isn't it?
Can you help us understand a little better the question? Are you referring to the thumbnail or the voice over in the video?

Is there anything in this channel not produced by AI?
The entire animation is done and render in Unreal Engine 5, the editing is done in Premiere Pro, the UI built in Photoshop and the overall built of the video in After Effect. The Chess of Legends logo is done via a tutorial that can be found in youtube rather easily and the entire script build is done by an actual script writter. None of the shorts video have any AI involvment as well. We've used Midjourdney and Faceinsight for the 5 first thumbnail because of the art direction we wanted and for the channel logo and banner as well. Our latest Thumbnail for Sherlock Gambit and Fatal Attraction dont' have any AI involved too. As for the voice over, we didn't want the accent of the narrator to be a source of distraction, that's why we have used AI generated speech. The overall syntax of the text is validated by Chat GPT (except for this comment that I'm writing from my phone) and off course the analysis from the game is validated by stockfish. What is your opinion about AI usage for youtube content?
@@ChessofLegends What OP was talking about was the off-putting obviously fake voice. I think everyone got it.
We are looking for a freelance voice over, but so far we didn't find someone available in the timeline proposed, we'll keep looking. In the meantime we found that solution quite helpful.
Hope you will find one soon!!! It will really improve the channel even more.@@ChessofLegends

The legendary Pragnananda. The pride of Tamils . Brought Tamils to global fame
Just out of curiosity, do you have a favorite game of his? I'm always looking for some chess highlights! 👑 Always glad to read your comments, thanks!
@@ChessofLegends I don't unfortunately. I do random reads but what attracts me to Pragg is he has a mystic X factor and a likeable charisma not seen in any other indian player. The other factor is since colonial times Tamil Nadu has often been referred to as the Oxford of the south. Thus my eyes are often on south indian player's and especially from the state of Tamil Nadu.
that is not ruy-lopez game
I appreciate your attention to detail. It seems there was an inconsistency in my commentary, and I appreciate your diligence in pointing it out. The Ruy Lopez and the Italian Opening are distinct chess openings, and it's important to clarify the correct sequence. The correct information is that the players DID NOT opt for the Ruy Lopez (one of Carlsen's frequently played openings). Instead, after the initial moves 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. Bc4 Nf6 4. d3, the game transitioned into an Italian Opening (as mentioned in the commentary). I apologize for any confusion caused by the oversight. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.
Magnus Carlsen the greatest GOAT of all times. Pragg the kid prodigy from Tamil Nadu is an emerging and intriguing boy wonder for the days ahead 🎉
Absolutely! Magnus Carlsen's dominance in chess is truly unparalleled, making him the Greatest in the chess world. It's also exciting to see young talents like Pragg (and his sister lately) making waves in the chess scene. The future of chess looks incredibly promising with such emerging prodigies. 🌟👏 Be sure to stay tuned this week as we'll be dropping another video highlighting Pragg's impressive skills!
Great analysis and animation. But i think the moves were a bit fast to follow. Btw this video will surely blow up. Great work.
Wow! Your comment is greatly appreciated. We'll make an effort to adjust the animation pace to ensure a smooth flow in the 4-5 minute video. Thank you!
