I surfed at Ocean Beach when I lived in Sunset in SF ten years ago. It would be odd day when you didn't get caught in a rip tide!

My goodness I've stood at the shore with my feet in the water right in the middle of a rip current. Damn, thankfully I didnt go further into the water or I'd be dead today!

Its not only the water u have to worry abt but the ground under ur feet, allso gives way and ull find it hard to stand and once u loose ur footing,then the games begin.
