Unfortunately now living in rural Australia it is extremely difficult to find parts or other people with the same interests.

Great Video Rob as always . As far as 75 mm axle , I use a company called McMaster-Carr they will have 3mm drill rod / Tool stock in the hardness and Length you require .

Hi Rob, I’ve left a couple of comments with links to axles but they are disappearing. Maybe the links are causing the issue. Are you seeing them? The place is called Ace hobbies here in Australia. Or 3mm drill blanks off eBay.

Multiple “aha!” moments for me in this video: the tube inserted into the tire to support trimming, the rubber-banded block of wood to set the chassis-mounts, the resin casting… Thanks for sharing the detail of your process! I learn a lot from your videos

An 'eclectic' selection there Rob. I thought your most recent and excellent Renault Megane F1 was out of left field but these are clearly from far, far away.

Another top notch clip here Rob. Your mechanical and aesthetic ingenuity knows no bounds. You really need a fast flowing track with long straights to bring out the potential in these 124 scale cars. Yep, not many of us and especially here in the UK have quite enough space but we are what we are.

WOW...when I saw test track I never imagined anything like this, I have to commend you on the attention to details, the tire barriers etc. .

Hi Rob, if you turn the Hot Wheels Hot Rod into a slotcar, make sure that the metal pieces are disconnected the braids from the whole car, to prevent an electrical shock. Just saying, because I know you know that, but there are quite a few so called experts, that don`t know that. By the way, in the Carrera Go!! line-up from cars there are two Hot Rods already, if you didn`t know it. 🙂

Used to make caravans from balsa wood when I was a kid to tow behind a Airfix MKI Cortina that my dad built and raced back in the 60's , caravans are long gone but I still have the Cortina .

I also have this car, and I will chip it, incl. Lights. But I cannot remove the inlay like you. Mine looks like it is glued in - I wish I could add a picture 😔 Coukd you just remove it, or was there glue, what you had to remove first? I really will use this car on track, since it was one of my favourite in Gran Turismo 1 or 2 🤩
