The North End: Boston's Iconic Little Italy | Part 1: The History
In the first part of this two-part episode, we're back on our home turf to explore the fascinating history of the North End: Boston's Iconic Little Italy.
Your first stop takes you back to 1775, when the British invaded Boston at the beginning of the American Revolution. Retrace Paul Revere's famous ride from his home in the North End to the Old North Church, where he hung two lanterns to indicate "two if by sea". From there, it's on to the waterfront, where a British warship nearly captured him as he crossed the Charles on his way to Lexington.
144 years later, in the same spot where Paul Revere crossed the Charles, a tank carrying 2.3 million gallons of molasses burst, sending a wave of molasses through the streets of the North End. To this day, the Great Molasses Flood remains one of the strangest disasters in history.
Cap off your day with a train ride to Wonderland. And stay tuned for Part 2, where we'll have much more time to dive into the North End's iconic Italian heritage, as well as the best Italian food in the United States.

Awesome! As a Winnipeger and prairie boy, thanks a lot! Too many people dont see the beauty in the prairies and only like mountains and oceans! Im actually doing an 80 km hike through Riding Mountain at the beginning of October (there will be videos), so check that out if you want! I actually found your channel by looking for walking safaris! Ill be back in South Africa in March and visiting Mozambique on the same trip... itll be mostly diving.. but man, do I love southern Africa!

July of 21 , My friend and I left Vancouver heading to N.B driving a mini van hauling an enclosed trailer , It was a slow ascend upwards but even slower after the snow shed it was 60 km per hour , maybe less ,was all we could do driving up the the smasher to the summit , seemed to take forever.

Should drive BC's highway 1 and highway 3 if you ever get the chance, those are the two highways that the Coquihalla(highway 5) replaced, seeing those highways really helps refine your perspective on the Coquihalla. I drive the Coquihalla twice a night, once each way, 4 to 5 nights a week for work.

I drive this several times a year and worked up in that valley both before and right after the highway went in. The main problem with that highway is what we in IT call the ID-10-T problems. I learned to drive in the Fraser Canyon area (much more dangerous than Coq) and know the limits for speed/conditions etc well. I’ve been driving gingerly down the snowshed hill at 90-100kmh many times in pissing rain & even snow & people are passing me going 120 just as I’m entering the snowshed, where the road surfaces change. I’ll also say if you had your vehicle almost floored going up any of those hills (especially southbound) and were barely maintaining 100kmh you were either towing maximum payload or it’s time for a major tuneup.

Hi, I saw your videos, your video quality is good but not properly SEO. Your SEO score is very poor. That's why your channel is not growing organically. Total 494+ subscribers and a Total of 42+ Uploaded videos of your channel. According to your channel, I noticed that your channel videos are not viewed and subscribed. You need to optimize your channel and do video SEO to reach your target audience. Otherwise, if you upload videos to your channel throughout the year, none of your videos will get viral views. Here are the issues I found: Title, description, video tags, channel tags, and video SEO are not performed on your videos. This is why your UA-cam channel is not growing. It is possible that if you fully customize your channel, the video will go viral.

Grew up on the West coast, it’s not so much the highway itself as it is the idiot drivers on the road, who seem to think 120 km/hr is for all conditions and other times just a recommendation and do 130 km/hr.
