That BMX thing. Have never seen it. Not Legendary to me. At least it was clean. She gives him the evil eye. The movie "Keith" is more legendary to me. Keith knows the "why" of that. :) And I used to dedicate the song "When You Say Nothing At All" to him. And I always tell him to "read my thoughts...I know that you can"...Dennis Denudo? Must have paid cash. No ID? I knew he used fake names. I was attracted to Australia since I was very young. I now know why. Since 1999. Haven't seen "Killers". Not a De Niro fan anymore. Liked some of his earlier films. I may have to watch "Dingo". In fact, I may have seen it years ago. I love music movies. God forbid. Will he bring the other somebody, in his life?

Alexei is one of the greatest minds involved in cinematic discussion today. His love of movies is infectious and he always respects filmmaking never going for the popular hatewatching rants that so many others make a living doing. It has changed my own view on movies and I now do what I can to look at the positives in every movie. My picks: New Release: An Cailín Ciúin (The Quiet Girl) - My favourite Irish movie and one that resonated with me as someone who grew up in a rural Irish town. (Also the director liked my review of it on Letterboxd!) Weeklies: Takeshi Kitano's melancholic Kids Return and Shane Black's greatest movie (imo) The Nice Guys Cheers Alexei! (And cheers to the two guests Nick Maso Mason and Mr. Scumbag Movies)

Loved this episode Alexei, I've listened to you since Ruby introduced you through Back Pocket. 12 Monkeys is one of my favourite films, and choosing both Colossal and Los Chronos Crimenes as recommendations was perfect! Keeping on track with this ep, my other most memorable mind-bending films are Fallen starring Denzel Washington (interestingly the first time I heard of the ancient measurement 'cubit', which John Leary could've helped you with on the Saturday Quiz - you are popping up everywhere mate!), and the 2005 film The Jacket starring Adrien Brody. As for a new-ish release I would go for Suzume.
