Too often, I later discovered that most of those who were brought back and restored did not truly enjoy Jesus afterward. They knew they were forgiven and loved. But after much time they still condemned themselves, thinking, “I’ve been so awful. I have to make it up to the Lord, to my loved ones, to the body of Christ.” They have been haunted by a sense of lost time, of wasted years, of fears they would never be able to please the Lord. And so they spent all their energies and thoughts trying to placate God. They constantly poured themselves into works of the flesh. But all along, Jesus had been more willing to forgive them than they were to receive his pardon. The shepherd never scolded that injured creature. He didn’t spread the word to others about how it had run away. Instead, this shepherd rejoiced before everyone, saying, “Look at this lost one, which has been found. Here is a trophy of my grace!” Moreover, all the wasted time, when the sheep was lost, would now be restored. God’s Word says: “Be glad and rejoice: for the Lord will do great things…. I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm… Ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you… And ye shall know…that I am the Lord your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed” (Joel 2:21, 25-27, my italics). Note the last phrase. It doesn’t matter what you may have done, how far you may have strayed. Once the shepherd brings you back, you are redeemed in full. There is no reason to labor in your flesh to try to make up for the fall you took. Your Redeemer has declared, “There is no more reason for you to be ashamed. I have redeemed you!” They feel the Lord’s chastening, and that can be grievous. But Jesus tells them in this parable, “Nothing is lost in my kingdom. You’re going to be made stronger through this. You are home now. And my grace will restore you in full.”

I need a miracle. It's been tough since I was 14. 25 years later I can't remember ever being blessed but yet I'm here . Failed relationships just to be told your a good person years later losing my family recently and seeing the mother of my children in a new relationship not evening caring about me. But yet I'm here praying God just blesses me with something. Idk just seems hopeless. I'm on the Internet telling strangers my life tryin find answers n I just need a miracle.

I’ve been in such a rut brother, I’ve turned away from some of my sins because I couldn’t help but feel like I was being called to do so, but some of the sins like fornicating with my fiancé for example I just keep messing up on. I’ve turned from weed and masturbating and have been standing my ground against the temptation. The fornication been getting better, as in more spaced out, but still, I screw up and I’ll be the one to be the tempter. I end up feeling so disgusted with myself to the point where I carry it on my face, yesterday at work my boss called me in for a meeting because they’re worried about me because of how unhappy I seem, telling me I should leave on good terms if my work makes me so unhappy. Between my unhappiness with my work, myself, and my outright lack of understanding of how I could possibly be worthy of Jesus’s love, i feel like a complete train wreck, I know in my heart the blood of Jesus saves me but I also know it doesn’t mean I should behave poorly yet do so, am I alone? Anyone else just want to skip what’s left and just be with Jesus despite unworthiness, lord help me I’m a wreck.. 😕

Brother please pray for me for a miracle - I am suffering from severe anxiety due to loss of smell from COVID for 3.9 years, I am suffering from long covid symptoms and I've tried everything I can to get better medically speaking, it just won't come back no matter what - So I choose to get rid of my severe anxiety rather than asking for my smell back in the name of Jesus - all prayers greatly appreciated
