Croatia, where I'm from, has hosted a WRC event for the past three seasons, but will skip next season due to clerical error of Zagreb local authority. But there is a possibility it will return on the calendar for 2026 season.

Points system changes periodically. WRC points system in season 2024 is complex. You basically don't score points for Friday stages. But you score points for Saturday, then super-Sunday and additional points for something called power stage (the last stage of the rallly). Basically 18-15-13-10-8-6-4-3-2-1 points will be awarded at the end of Saturday's final classification, but only if a crew reaches the final classification of the rally at the end of Sunday. Competitors will do battle for a maximum of seven points on Sunday. Points will be awarded as follows to the top seven competitors via the following sliding scale; 7-6-5-4-3-2-1. So if you win both Saturday and Sunday you score 25 points which matches 25 points for overall win in the scoring system of seasons before 2024. You don't have to win all stages on Saturday or Sunday your total time for that day needs to be lowest. This new scoring system is to push the drivers to give all their best on sunday instead of pushing hard on Saturday then playing it safe on Sunday. PS: if you won Saturday, but hadin't finished Sunday - you don't get any points

There are a few female really drivers that were incredibly influential, rosemary Smith and pat Moss. Rosemary used the Hillman imp and proved that it was a great little car and she could throw it about and beat some way bigger and more powerful cars. Pat Moss rallied an Austin Healey 3 litre and they weren't the easiest of cars to get a decent time out of it. They were pretty heavy cars and labour intensive vehicles to drive. That woman threw that car about. Michelle Mouton came after these women and drove probably the absolutely wildest rally cars there's ever been. We need more women in rally and there needs to be greater support to get more women into the driving seat of modern rally.
