try to change screen mode in FF15. I tried to press alt + enter in main menu, load the save, again alt + enter in the game and changed screen mode on another

Seen as it's an upgrade Microsoft are fully responsible for, it's on them to fix it, but after all this time. This bug still persists. It's the 7th time it happened to me and I only around half way through. Not willing to drop the enhancements so i just pause and wait. Not an ideal solution. Funniest one was when it happened combined with the two protagonists not loading in properly during a scene with only the eyeballs and hair loaded in. It may well be a bug related to streaming in the assets from scene to scene.

*sigh* .. Bloody stutter.. Just got the game today cuz I was like.. okay.. but this stutter is frequent even today.

I believe it’s the games problem, Fortnite would go from 120fps all the way down to 15fps around 2 years ago on the Xbox Series S/X but Epic Games fixed it somehow within the pass 2 years. The fps lag spike would last for about 2 minutes the go back up to 120fps. Might be a memory issue or optimization issue. Fortnite currently has a bug with Chapter 5 where the game will randomly close by itself for no reason.

The cause of stuttering is because prompto snapshot getting acces to user account.

I have the same stutters everywhere apart from the DLC, right from day 1 of the game since today, even in the intro cutscene. WD SN850 2 TB. Where did you install the game on?

Cool video and great mastery of that game. You almost make it look too easy. I remember going through some of those mutants by endlessy kiting them, throwing pebbles at their mutated face, but you melt them in style under 2 minutes. Well done!

I found the culprit for these micro stutters/freezes. It has nothing to with the graphics settings, it's prompto's snapshots that is causing them, it tries to access your ssd/hd during gameplay and saves data that's why it is constantly stuttering Here's the fix: -go to your documents>ffxv folder>save storage>snapshot -right click on the snapshot folder then click properties -go to security tab then advanced tab -disable the inheritance for all users/account then click apply and ok -now go back to security tab again then click edit *now the important part* -UNCHECK allow box on the WRITE tab , then CHECK the deny box instead(this will stop the game from writing data on your drive during gameplay) -do this for all the usernames or groups and do not mess with the other box just the WRITE tab -click apply then ok, you can now close it -Open your FFXV game, try to find a save file where you can fight monsters so you can test it -the game will notify you that you can not save but do not worry this is only for snapshot thing not the actual save file. -enjoy CONS: the feature where Prompto is saving pics throughout your playthrough will not be available but the game will now become stutter free specially during combat.

do not set your fps to 60,but default/120fps because your pc will costumize itself (sorry for my bad english)

if you are using tram at the highest , then lower it...it is used for 12gb of vram

Im about to find out if it forces MSAA like the origin version with the demo. If it doesnt like the steam version this is the workaround I needed.

Hello, your videos are very helpful in showing how this game runs on different versions (steam, origin etc.). I was just wondering if you have tried out the steam version of the game since the June 2020 update. Just curious as to whether I should buy the steam version now or the origin version (origin version is triple the price). But i would rather pay the extra money for the game to run properly if the steam version still doesn't work as it was supposed to.

Steam version suck, and no fix ever come out, and never will. Just like their FFXIII- 1,2,3 Never gonna touch SE games on steam anymore.
