@@scratchbuiltreplicas824 So the Tomtoc sling I show that has the 5 pouches in it is carried everyday to work along with the tech bag, shot pouch go in my laptop bag and picket items like the tin. If I am just going out shopping or to a supper club only the pocket items make the cut. If we go to the in laws or parents for a visit or a shorter hike the Lole small sling gets carried to bring some extra items. If we take a weekend trip to a state park or national park I will carry the 4L Tomtoc slings for those. It is a modular system that allows me to grab what I need when I think I need it. That said I should probably put some items in my wife and daughters cars like duct tape because you just never know when it is needed. I believe everyone involved in the accident was generally ok, but the cops got me out of there pretty quickly since my vehicle was drivable. Overall my theory is to be practically prepared and it’s ok to use something only once in a great while, because that one time use could be important. Hope that helps and thanks for watching.

@@Rick-fz7tt nice I did look at those, but had already ordered a couple of Alpaka slings when they had a huge sale. TomToc products are amazing.

It’s a fun exercise in see what is really used during the year. Also helped me to figure out what I should be using as well. Looking forward to see what you come up with

One has a reversible pocket clip and the other doesn’t

Add oil or open it and adjust the clip it’s super easy I put custom scales on these for fun

@@spicyguacc I was 50/50 on getting them. The two stores showed online inventory but they couldn’t find them;) and 2 stores had them in the cabinet but did not have a spot to display them. Still amazed they are still scarce. The new 5 buck version is out of stock locally too.

@@ChrisvilleUSA same. I went to get a Civivi mini praxis for my wife and daughter this week and saw 6 laying in the back of the case so grabbed one for my daughter. Person that checked me out said they still aren’t lasting long in store.

Same exact thing happened to me at Walmart today. They had a full display the last time but when I got there today 15 minutes from closing I saw one left and there was only one employee who 5 people already asked for help from. I should've got it when they were stocked up but I'm lucky I still got it 🤞

@@cgolf100 I’m assuming the Chinese slave making my knife was allotted fifteen seconds to assemble the product. I’m sure my first two problems will be corrected by disassembling, cleaning, and reassembly. As for sharpening I’ve got probably a dozen knives that I really need to bring to the professional and have them sharpened. I’ll just have this one done at the same time.

That sucks. That is the first I have heard of a big issue with the knife. So far I have only heard that there was a little blade wiggle, fixed with tightening, or the blade wasn't centered. Hopefully they can replace it for you. Thanks for watching.

Thanks for the information, I was very curious how they compared. I am hoping to be getting the small TomToc tech case as a gift, as this tech case ultimately is to bulky for my laptop bag, but has held up very well. I really like the 3 TomToc slings I have. TomToc makes it easy for me to justify not overspending on other brands. Thanks for watching.

Put some superglue around the base of the ferro rod and you will be fine. Add orange paracord in case you drop it. You will be able to find it. That ferro rod will throw a spark just as well as the big expensive ones.

@@kerrydiecast1484 I have been hearing that. Mine don’t have that issue. Let’s hope that color is the only quality control issues they have. From the stress test videos I have watched it looks pretty solid.

One guy in the WM reviews dyed his black with Rit dye. I had no idea you could do that. I don’t know if he dabbed it on with a very small brush or what, but I can’t imagine it won’t rust if you put it down in the water. Maybe he rubbed it with the dry powder.
