Beautiful song Matt. I hope things change in this world soon. We are trapped in such darkness and corruption. You know how it is by going through Hollywood like myself. It’s so dark. The whole world of influence is like that too. You have such a beautiful voice dude and I still feel in my heart like it needs to be heard. People like us need a chance. There are so many other unbelievably talented people I see everyday that still need to be seen too. I pray so hard for the chance... WITHOUT a compromise. You know what I mean. I’m sure you do. I’m always coming back to listen to your material. Just hang in there dude. Pray for change. Not the bullsh*t change the TV tells people to wish for. Real change, without an agenda. A change for a BRIGHTER future. A future of freedom where people truly have a chance to succeed and follow their dreams. Your dreams in LA song was so uncanny... almost uncomfortably accurate. When I listen to that, I almost feel like you are perfectly describing my life word for word as well. Nobody will love you if you love who you love it’s universally true. Hollywood ruined my relationship with the love of my life. She was in Hollywood as well. It tore us apart and ruined us... promoted pushing agendas of promiscuity instead of the benefits and wonders of real relationships and sharing true love with the world. Years and years of getting in and out of contracts, legal, etc... many prizes, connections, awards, but here I am with ALL THIS... still the same amount of money I had yesterday and I thank God I never got stuck OWING anyone monetarily. Got lucky with that one. Not to mention like I said above, compromising yourself. Compromising your spirituality and religion. Compromising relationships. Compromising values. Compromising more. Don’t get me wrong, there are plenty of good people in our business. There are. But most of them aren’t “running things” you know? They may be close, but not shot callers. Once you deal with shot callers, A-Listers, etc... the above mentioned starts to begin. It always does. Just never give up. If you ever do, just come back someday and check in once in a while. You’re doing a better job than I am of keeping your dream alive... I’ve thrown in the towel somewhat. I just don’t have the money, time, trust, or patience for it anymore. I still love music but as my accomplishments of the past state back at me, they haunt me with a future of what could’ve been, if I would’ve orchestrated my life in a more negative fashion. Stay strong Matthew Jon Kurz. I’ll be listening to this song and dreaming about the one I used to love. That’s what people like us do for other people, with our talents. Your gift is still there.
