Hey there, yep still reading them lol. I think at the time I was using Line 6 Pod Farm, and specifically liked the Big Bottom amp and their version of the Mesa cab with v30s for just about everything, including this. That being said, I imagine I didn’t dial the gain too high for this one, but honestly this was quite awhile ago, so I’m not 100% sure.

Hey! Sadly I don't. Josh plays that part in a very strange way anyway. I'm actually doing some sort of octave up version of it if you listen closely. I was doing some sort of tapping on the 12th fret, pulling off to the 7th, 8th and 10th if I remember correctly, moving up the strings. It sounded close enough so I went with it. Josh does a bunch of hammer ons and pull offs with open strings if I'm not mistaken, which he can do waaaay faster than I can haha

There’s a cover of this by a guy Dane Markanson who ended up joining the band as their second guitarist and I’m pretty sure the way he plays it is the right way, it’s very similar to how Rick described it. You could always check that out and slow it down. Honestly though, the way it was done in this video sounds very similar and would be a good substitute.

@@ther1spammer261 wow thank you so much :'l I did end up getting a guitar for my birthday this year. But I'm dealing with a lot of untreated mental health issues that make me not able to stay focused and stuff so I'm not able to learn yet but it is so great that I have the choice to pick it up whenever I'm ready now that I have one. I ended up getting an electric guitar cause I realized that makes me more excited :)

Official Couch If you’ve seen WM526s go for $600 that’s one hell of a deal. It’d be on the high end of that I’d say. This was a one off (as far as I know) with an actual ebony fretboard as opposed to the weird carbon fiber they did on all the others. Plus it’s matte black. Has the Washburn custom shop stamp right on it. I may have to give Washburn a shout to see if this is a true one off model.

Young Flapjacks Never touched the 8th string actually! I just tuned down the top 7 strings. Worked fine considering the scale length on the guitar.
