Jeez, I don't know, never tried. You'll need to leave your car on the parking lot and police can be curious why is it there overnight. Then you go through pastures, they are private property and you cannot trespass, they are behind barb wire fence so you'll need to hike to preserve. Once you reach river and preserve itself , there are no dedicated camping areas. But, unswerving your question, I never saw anyone patrolling the territory on foot, only roads are checked sometime.

Central Florida Orchid Society is organizing small show and sale Oct 14 at Commerce Bank & Trust. Check CFOS FB page. Krull-Smith usually has couple of shows in Winter but they didn't post anything yet. AOS is saying Krull-Smith will host International Vanda & Slipper Orchid Symposium Nov.3

No "swamp things" but a lot of tourists :). I tried to avoid them getting into frame.

Thank you for comment! It depends where you are going to grow your orchid. Inside/outside? What climate? For me in FL standard cattleyas are the easiest. Also catasetinae, dendrobium-phalaenopsis, rhynchostylis. A lot of orchids from colder climates I cannot grow because they cannot survive our hot and humid summers. People who grow orchids on windowsills often say phalaenopses are easy for them.

@@barblucas2539 Check out Orchids By Hausermann website. This is old nursery and they are in your area, see what they are growing. But my advice to anyone who wants to learn about orchids is to join local society. This is usually very unexpensive (ours is only $20/year) and you'll get access to tons of knowledge and great friendly community. Usually you can visit the meeting for free and see if you like it and if that place is right for you.

In my second video (Orchid Garden 2) I included numbers so you can see exactly what orchid is that. In this video I only have a list but it is in the same order so, I hope, it helps a little.

You have beautiful orchid shows in CA: Pacific Orchid Exhibition in SF, Santa Barbara Show, Show in San Marino. As well as impressive list or orchid nurseries.
