This place works with thermals. There is seldom wind or it is very light. Good thermals start around 02:00 PM. You can fly lighter planes starting around 12:00. Thermals last until 7-8 PM.

Had to cancel my trip this year. We were supposed to be there 2 weeks starting from today. Will hear the whistle 2021 again.

most of the time i fly like John but on really windy days ive got a big moulded glider and it scares the bejezus out of me ad my flying buddy ,for that very reason .

Hi Jiri, It's around 5.2kg and it is a Hartschale version. I had it with me in Seiser Alm last summer (2017). Really nice plane.

Hi, below my old instructions (using free Telemetry Analyzer SW) . DataExplorer can export directly to Dashware format (I have not tested but there is a export option for that). I used Telemetry analyzer earlier and instructions for that are below. Instructions: Find out excellent free software called Dashware. You can combine and synch your telemetry data with your video. I have Jeti DS-16 system which gathers telemetry data to SD card in transmitter. Dashware was not compatible with Jeti log file format but I found a way how to make Dashaware read my data. 1. Import data from card using Telemetry analyzer SW. Make new table and import whatever columns you want. I was interested in Altitude, Vario and speed. So I made a data table including these items Then export the data to excel from Telemetry Analyzer 2. Open Excel and modify the exported data. I made my own headers that Dashware then identifies. Format: Jeti Log (fileformat header) Seconds Altitude Vario Speed Speedkmh (data headers for Dashware) 0 0 -0.5 10 36 0.12 0.14 It is important to use dot as a decimal separator in excel. Then save excel as csv. I also included data column Speedkmh which I calculated with excel from Speed (m/s) Time is exported from Telemetry Analyzer in peculiar format but you can change it to seconds by formula: cell value in seconds = 3600*24* (time cell value) 3. Make data column mappings to Dashware and create your own jetilog file data type. Synch your videos with csv files. My Moebius cam skips two seconds each time clip is changed (I use mp4 format) . It is pain to edit log csv:s and try to cut 2 seconds of from proper places. I suggest that set you Moebius or whatever cam to long clip mode so it is easy and straightforward to synch the data. I learned this only when I had combined multiple 5 mins clips. The synch was gone every 5 mins. Had to do all over again. 4. When all is done you need to remux all with AVIDEMUX. For some reason Dasware makes unplayable mp4, at least in my Western Digital player. All you have to do is use avidemux with settings: audio copy video copy muxer mp4 It just remuxes video and audio and it is then compatible with all players.
