I helped build a walking bed for a mill right after I got out of welding school, I was taught about bearings, gearboxes, hydraulics and all kinds of tricks while fabricating and putting it in. I was lucky to get in on a project like that when I was 19, it got me into being a millwright and I really loved doing that work.
Drop wall down on the hot bed on too the shear through the bundler and on the holding table to get shipped or warehoused. I work at a mill in Oregon.
