Vintage Snare Drum Restoration (Pearl free floating 14 by 3.5")
In this restoration video, I will bring back to life a vintage snare drum free floating 14 by 3.5 inches made from Brass material. I decided to restore it in such a way that it will not lose its antique look. The restoration process took me about 4 hours to achieve what you saw in this restoration video. Removing the rust and patina from the brass body and sanding them took most of the time.
I love how this vintage snare drum turned out and shine again.

Any ideas of how to remove the head of the bass drum pedal ? Trying to get it off the steel rod without wrecking the beater is hard because I think they are glued. Any ideas, greatly appreciate. ✌
No instructions or recipes. This is a total waste of time. 😊

Hi there, no it doesn’t, a steady room temperature will help. If it use for touring or gig oftentimes it might turn black.
