I love all things EDC. Knives, tools, watches and more. I've spent countless hours on UA-cam watching reviews and gaining more knowledge on the EDC world. I started my own channel to give more guys and gals like me simple videos on what they want to see. I hope you enjoy!
EDC Hats?!? Are hats an EDC item? #edc #hats #trucker #fittedhats #snapback #stl #military #airforce
Do you consider a hat an EDC item? I most certainly do. Its not a daily requirement but rather something you add to your daily carry. These are my top 4 favorite hats!

That Spyderco opened with authority
She sure did!
I'm big on use what you carry and carry what you use-and I would not use what you carry, except for that Tinker. You just sold one Sasquach-scaled Tinker for SMKW, because yes I would use and carry that! 😯 My own carry is a bit higher tech but relatively low-priced as its based on function over fashion because what's carried is meant to be used, and that means possibly damaged or lost.
@@knghtbrd glad you like the Bigfoot knife! As for your carry i would be very interested to see what you have, thanks for watching!
How u decide which one you carry for today?
@@Larry_fitness the knife picks me for the day lol
It's an odd grind for a sailing knife. I have practically the same knife blade, a brisa wharncliffe, which I use for rig work. The sabre grind is pretty mediocre compared to the flat grind on my pocket knife, in terms of cutting marline yarn and rope, unfortunately. Both of them are about the same width and thicknet, just like that kizer.
Well I guarantee the Esee has a good heat treatment! Kizer is garbage! The only Kizer I ever bought was so bad the edge would roll and chip from cardboard!
@@Obsidian-One i do love my esee knives, real tough. Im gonna give the kizer a chance and I hope it holds up.
That would be good way to test it. Know what it can do.
@@r.tomrobison8307 for sure. Im hoping to get a good video from the hike with using it
Bought this for a camping trip. Didn't want to bring a folder, so wanted to get a small fixed blade. It was surprising to me how much I'd like this knife. Whittled so much wood with it and its still sharp.
@@iownjimmy thats awesome! It is a great knife. I love D2 steel
I agree with all you said. Also they are very useful. Keeps the sun out. I have a hat velcro patch. I can change it anytime.
Nice knife. Getting mine tomorrow.
@@timbury45 enjoy it man and thanks for watching!
I’ve tried carrying a small fixed blade so many times in different set ups for my daily use it just to much. I always just come back to my old 91mm victorinox huntsman that I’ve had forever.
@@jaywalker2012 i agree. I will say I have gotten more used to it over the last couple months but overall for EDC I think it ends up being too much 50% of the time. I do love the vixtorinox hiker in this video as well. Its such a great tool I overlooked for so long.
@@hendo_daily I forgot to mention that I do keep a fixed blade close by as I keep on in my truck but I also keep a decent set of tools in there too so my needs are probably different than someone else’s. As that is I’m always surprised at what I can get done with just my SAK without abusing it. I know a lot of people go on about how the knife doesn’t stay sharp for a long time. It needs a better steel and so on. I’ve never had issues with that if I use it a lot one day I can just touch it up in a few minutes that evening but with normal use that I have once every few weeks is good enough. By the way I like the timex watch to I have that model to I just put a nice leather strap on it.
@@jaywalker2012 heck yeah dude the SAK gets alot done. And thanks man I do love leather bands I may get one to swap out occasionally for the timex.
I've been rocking zebra 701 pen and pencil combo for something like a decade now. I love em but i know what you mean when you say you have a preference of how a pen writes. 701 ended up being mine. I've been just kinda shopping for one of those types of wallets for a while. I think that one might be the right balance of cheap and quality you may get me to pull the trigger on it.
@@djd34d14 i may need to try their pencils too, and you really should try it out. Plenty of color options and $37 isn't too bad I think.
It's good to see video on what you really use. I like your pens. The zedra 701 being all can be used for self defense. You also put a write in the rain cartridge in. I have pen a pencil set. Also a Parker metal pen. A good and practical setup. Thank you for your service.
@@r.tomrobison8307 thanks for the positive feedback its nice getting good interaction on my videos!
@@hendo_daily all to often those who edc has to have the best and expensive. You I have good equipment and all useful. You use what you carry. Looking forward to your next video,
Awesome video sir! Keep it up! Great set of gear for EDC as well.
@@SurvivingtheDaily thank you so much!
just subbed my dude zebra 701 i love it
Thanks man! And its been a great pen for sure!

Haha happy to bring back the memories!
Why would someone subscribe for EDC content? You don't know you're carrying, or why, or have any idea what you're doing in general. You wouldn't dare lol.
Looks like knives I have seen coming from Pakistan. Even the tooling on the sheath.

@@MultiMarcus123 thats not a bad thought. Maybe for some food prep?
i wouldn’t get rid of it either💀
@@SoloHallow every once in a while ill shred some paper with it for fun lol
I think they did the G10 layer to help protect the D2 from moisture under the scales. G10 isn't permeable like micarta.
@@AndrewHenderson-q7q that would make alot of sense actually!
Awesome!!! Thanks for the great review of my design! I'm glad you like it. If you ever wanna try ajusti g the carry for it the hole pattern is large Teklok compatible so you can use those or anything with that gole pattern on it. Personally I like to scout carry in the small of my back and I use the Civivi Tclip on all of my small fixed blades. Affordable and great designed clip. Also ulticlips worl well with it. For your esee izula 2 it's an amazing knife. I love mine. I really don't like the sheath they come with. I found that the Bradgord Guardian 3 sheath is a great fit for the izula and bradford sells them for around $10. That is if you want to try a scout or cross draw carry with it. They are good quality veg tanned leather so if you get the urge you can dye it whatever color you like 👍.
Thanks for the tip! I may try a teklok with it and although I don't prefer any horizontal carries maybe that will be the next thing I try. Perhaps I haven't given it enough time to get used to a horizontal carry. Ill be sure to check out Bradford's sheath when I do!
😅 my wife doesn't care about my collection at all. She pretends to show interest when I'm talking about them. The only time she really gives any real attention is when I'm making a new blade. That's when she gives real feedback. I've bought her some knives over the years and they all end up in her junk drawer except one. She stole my mini bugout and uses it almost daily. It's the only knife she actually likes 😅
@@tylerbarnes7628 i get it man! I've bought a few for her but she always steals my barage out of my storage. I can always tell because I have all my knives laid out a certain way and she always puts it back backwards or upside down lol
Nice gift and nice shirt!!!
I already loved Victorinox when I was a kid. But since I discovered Alox 10 years ago, I have a huge collection of them. I mostly carry a Pioneer and a Swiss Card Nail Care in my pocket. And usually also an Alox Classic, those things are tiny but still very useful.
@@miklospinter i didn't realize the alox have been around that long. I love those scales. I have thought about putting a classic on my keys to have as well they seem really handy!
@@hendo_daily They introduced the Pioneer in 1957, the year my mother was born :D It was also the base for the 1961 version of the Soldier, the model that they issued to all soldiers of the Swiss Army. They issued the Alox version between 1962 and 2008.
@@hendo_daily The Classic is a great model, but personally I prefer the Rambler or the Jetsetter for the key chain. But unfortunately, those are not available in Alox. (There are a few hundred Ramblers out there made for Swiss Bianco, but those are very hard to find. It's probably cheaper to have it custom made.)
@@miklospinter thanks for the info and I will certainly look into the jetsetter as a key knife!
@@miklospinter True. I have 2 soldiers from the Swiss Army. One from 1971 and one from 1973. The thickness of the tools had been thicker that time compared to modern Pioneer. Great quality, still in good shape.
From 15 straight to around $100 that's a big jump. My first knife was a cheapo bud k knife from the nineties that was basically a lock back but with pins by the pivot you could push back actuate the blade similar to the Benchmade / gravity knife action
@@eliduncan4630 thats awesome! I used to love getting budk magazines i bought a huge fixed blade with skulls all over it that I still have today. Paid 12.99 and thought it was the greatest knife ever!
CRKT Provoke folding Krambit i was just fascinated by the design have had it for years and its still my go to
@@ghouldonic thats awesome, I've seen them but never handled one before. It wouldn't be my typical style but I would absolutely be willing to try one out! Thanks for answering!
Syderco paramilitary 3, Benchmade Osborne 940 and a gerber paraframe with partial serrated. The gerber was my first knife
