Sorry if this is like a dumb comment but: From someone who hasn't played pokemon go since like the pandemic started uhhh it really looks like it's over exaggerated a bit (admittedly I'm not really into character customization) think I'd like to get more insight from people who don't like this change because as a somewhat uninterested viewer it doesn't look like a big deal

It's been a rough year for the life long pogo players. The remote raid increase stopped me from spending actual money in the game. Only event that seems worthy of my money is Go Fest, but that is not as it used to be too. I hate how the global community was killed off because of remote nerf.... yet they still want us to have them around by putting out region locked pokemon in raids (Celesteela/Kartana and soon to be Blacephalon/Stakataka). Pretty sure that interview with Zoe two dots/Niantic a year ago is not meeting the expectations on many.

me and my friend still do every single event and our daily incense every day its not any less fun to me idk what youre saying i do agree that i hate niantic tho. we live in a very small town and its rare we get a chance to even to the regular 5 star raids , weve never ever been able to do the rocket or elite raids where you cant invite anyone for no reason. also the rivals even that just ended was awesome, you cant just say the shinies have already been out because if you live in the US you could not get heatmor sawk or zangoose that is huge that we got to have a chance at them with a boosted rate. sawk and throh were literally only 2 days of the event. that and the genders thing are the only points i heavily disagree on. i am a shiny hunter in all of pokemon thats the only thing i care about so hearing people say they dont want a shiny because it isnt good in battle is just wild to me,

Yeah im a male but think the avatar stuff is a stretch. Dont think it affects us the only thing it shows is that they are updating the game and seeing everyones comments on it but choosing to go after the money.

For an average player the 5 remotes daily sucks but isnt THAT bad. But remote raids doubling in price sucks. And the fact you cant convert the regular passes into remote. Id even pay more for the ability. Ive got like 50 3yo raid passes. Also, you lost me at the avatar complaining. The midels are awful, but leading with "omg no gender" when half the time cis folks assume peoples gender identities anyways.... It sounds like youre making a problem where you probably really don't have one Sincerely, a non-binary queer whos been playing since day 1
