Doing my best with a Wingman (Apex Highlights #1)
First 🎉
How do you configure the perf settings? Does the motion sync, line&ripple connection, esports mode and long range changes anything fundamentally?
Idk what you mean about perf settings. But motion sync improves cursor tracking consistency but increases latency by 1ms. Ripple is similar to Motion Sync but for higher DPI and higher latency (not recommended for FPS games). Angle snapping is the curser snaps to the close tab on windows. Esports mode increases sensor read out and decreases latency at the expense of battery life. Long range mode basically just gives you better wireless performance, you turn it on if you have your dongle underneath your desk to improve wireless signal connection with the mouse
@ Oh thank you, that also answers the question about the perf settings.
Do you know if the Viper OG and V3 have the same shape? I tried my almost broken Viper and it felt really good after a long time with ATK R1 Pro and a few months of Mchose A7 Pro which makes me difficult to track enemies
No, OG Viper and V3 Pro is different. Go with the V2 Pro if you're looking for something similar
how would this compare to teh attack shark r6? they both seem similar in terms of shape and specs but i heard that attack shark build quality is worse. attack shark is $65 CAD and atk f1 extreme is $94 CAd for me so 30 dollars cheaper but is it worth the extra for atk?
They're different in terms of shape since the R6 has a back hump compared to the Extreme that has the hump at the center. If you like the R6 shape but you're worried about the build quality, go with the Scyrox V8, they just announced that they restocked it and it's a sub brand of Lamzu, which is popular in the peripheral scene because of it's excellent build quality
@@YameSten oh im not sure if i like the shape of r6. I have a razer viper mini right now and thats the shape im comfortable with. I've heard that the r6 would be more catered towards an aggressive claw? because of its humps and curves, but i dont know if the viper mini i have is taht aggressive. Would the f1 extreme or r6 resemble the viper mini shape more?
The F1 Extreme would be closest to the Viper Mini shape since they took the shape and made some tweaks with the design
Hey man, have you tried the Gosu Dike pad? When I got it, I was kind of disappointed since it had slow spots despite being new. How does it compare to the EMC?
Haven't tried pads from GGG. Might be humidity problem if it has slow spots out of the box, humidity can affect consistency
@YameSten thanks a lot man!
F1 Extreme vs Hyperlight vs OP1?
Between the F1 Extreme and the Hitscan Hyperlight, that depends on your budget and what you prioritize. If you want to spend less than $90 on a mouse that has the 8k dongle included and is 4-5g lighter, then go with the Extreme. If you want to support the creators of the F1 shape and want supposed better QC (according to other reviews) go with the Hyperlight. Personally, I prefer the OP1 based on the shape alone since I claw grip. If you want a <40g mice for claw, go with the Sora V2. Hope this helps
@@YameSten It's a difficult choice! I'm ready click buy on any of these, but I can't decide. I see so many positive feedbacks on Hyper and OP1 8K-- for me the switches are the decider. I want the closest to Omron D2FC-F-K that G Pro HERO has...
@@DreamingPhenom I much prefer the Kailh GX switches on the OP1 8K compared to the Omron Opticals. Omron Opticals feel light and spammable, but they still don't have the same feel as a mechanical switch has. I will say this, choose one based on the shape and not just feedback based on reviews, your enjoyment of the mouse will be dependent on the shape of the mouse (i. e. How it fits your hand). I have 19.5x10cm hands and the F1/Hyperlight shape feels too small to have my normal comfortable grip so I don't really enjoy using it as much as other mice
@@YameSten Alright, so I got the OP18K now. While I love the coating, sensor and relatively good switches (I prefer the Logi G Pro Hero Omrons way more, side by side they are way more spammable, feels lighter, has a more pleasant light sound profile.. these feel perfect), it would be near perfect of only it had a more pronounced and taller bump towards the back to offer slight stability for the palm. Based on these observations, I will probably return the OP18K. Looking into the ATK F1 again, and it seems to have similar switches to my favorites (Omron D2FC-F-7) in terms of how light and spammable they are-- they even sound very much the same. I'm hesitant about the button groves on F1, as well as the not-as-good coating compared to OP18K. Do you have any idea and suggestion on how I move forward? I've also looked into the Pulsar variants, (specifically X2H Mini, has close to the dimensions I'm looking for, as well as the back-centered pronounced hump), but then again I'm not sure about the coating, switches and button quality on that one. Also checked Maya, same thing. Unfortunately the OP18K didn't tick every box shape-wise, otherwise that would probably be my lifetime endgame...
@@DreamingPhenom I wouldn't go with the F1 if you're looking for a back hump. If you want something that's similar to the X2H Mini with Omron Opticals, I suggest going with the Scyrox V8. Coating might not be like the OP18K though
+1 Sub! On point review! I'm gonna wait for your EM-C/Saturn Pro and EM-B mousepad! Hopefully, Tang Dao (Black) also? I hope you can compare those 3 if you'll be avail to get your hands on it soon! And if there's a chance you're selling some of your mousepads, I'm also from Philippines
Thank you! Saturn Pro review coming soon. Not sure about the Tang Dao yet since it's too expensive to ship from AliExpress, Amazon is much better but I haven't decided to get one yet
1vs4
im willing to buy the f1 extreme, and i wanted to ask you about how fast does it take to charge. great review .
Probably 30 mins, but that's just based on the battery indicator on the web-based software
Should i buy this instead of viper v3 pro?
Honestly this depends on your hand size and grip style. The F1 Extreme is better for small to medium hand sizes because of its size for claw grip, if you fingertip grip the mouse then it's good for all hand sizes. The VV3 Pro is good for medium to large hand sizes for claw grip and palm grip. For fingertip grip it might be too big unless you have really large hands
Flat packed? Until they start shipping there pads flat packed I won't touch Xraypad - it's 2025 not 2009.
Got my AC Pro Mid as flat-packed, but they stopped doing it. Idk why.
No they're rolled up in the tube that's why it doesn't lie perfectly flat. But it might be because the pad was heat treated that's why it's taking time to adjust. The AC Pro Neon Mid has a different base hence it's flat packed
The Mid Neon is flat packed. The soft and xsoft are not.
Thanks for the review, very usefull
Thank you!
I just bought the X1 Ultimate (51gr 500mAh) updated version for $77 for 40% of the price of the V3 Pro Viper. I'm long term DaV3 Pro 8khz user so i think it will be a nice upgrade. Furthermore, griptapes are always an option :)
can't hear anything bc of gameplay
i was thinking of getting the f1 extreme but i saw that there is the f1 extreme esports which is the leviathan version and it costs less, which one do u think is more worth it cuz i think the only diffrence i could notice there was the lack of the 8k dongle (i have zero clue what it even does) and i think it had a diffrent chip, could u help me with that?
The F1 Extreme comes standard with the 8k Dongle (it allows your mouse to run at 8k Hz Polling wirelessly). Not sure if the coating would be different on the Leviatan version of the mouse, but just choose which color you prefer and which would be cheaper, because they're essentially the same product
where do you get grip tapes for the F1 Ex
Comes with Grip Tape out of the box. If you want aftermarket ones, try Xraypad if they have one specifically for it. If not, you can get a DIY Supergrip kit from Pulsar which is also good
which one should i buy? ATK F1 Ultimate or ATK F1 Extreme?
The main differences between them are the battery size (250mAh with the Ultimate vs 200mAh with the Extreme), and the scroll wheel color (all black with the ultimate vs white and black with the extreme). Personally I'd get the Extreme since it's lighter, newer (so hopefully better QC), and cheaper compared to the Ultimate
rubberize ba yun Logo ng Qck?
Heat pressed like what you see on printed shirts
I am planing to get this mouse cuz I use the attack shark x3 and it is the same size
Great mouse tbh, hopefully you get a good copy
ATK F1 Extreme or Beast X Max what u think?
Different sizes tbh, so it'll depend on your hand size and grip style. Beast Max is also like 2x the price of the F1 Extreme
I have ATK f1 extreme but i think Beast X Max is better because it's more expensive and better build quality
@@bed2382 just Bought Both lol hope for the best
@@bed2382 i mean they have similar stats but its a 100 euro diffrence lol
I have both. I stopped using Beast X max a long time ago, it is just a horrible mouse overall specially considering the price (very slippery and very bad grip due to magnesium body, very bad shape that flares in front for no reason and hurts the hands, the right mouse click bites into your finger). It is also ultimately much more heavy and expensive compared to all these other mice I would pick pick atk f1 anyday over any wlmouse, heck you can buy 3 of them in each color for the price of a single wlmouse. Quality differences are just overstated and make no difference in longevity or daily use
yo what mouse should I get currently I have a g502 hero for 5 years and planning to get a new one currently I'm looking at the razer viper v3 pro should I get it or is there anything else that is better for the price?
You could go with the Maya X. Similar shape with better main switches in my opinion. But the VV3 Pro is a very solid option
I got this mouse today its insane price to performance. Mine came with all black scroll wheel (looks like atk ultimate) but still is the extreme version maybe its newer batches. Only thing that I would change is the fact it gets some smudges on the coating almost impossible to get rid, do your atk mice also have that? Great review!
Damn I've seen some with all black scroll wheels, but mine didn't unfortunately, it's my only aesthetic critique of this mouse tbh lol. For the smudges, just use a damp microfiber cleaning cloth to wipe it down. That's what I do to clean the mouse after each use
in your honest opinion would you reccomend this or the hitcan hyperligh? both very simliar mice but overall whats better??
Everyone who got the Hitscan Hyperlight has been giving it an overall positive review, so I'd say build quality and QC goes to the Hyperlight. F1 Extreme wins in terms of weight and price
I dont understand how u would go for hitscan's mouse tbh. More expensive for a worse sensor and a heavier mouse. As long as qc is good, its an easy choice imo. I got the leviathan version for 84 including shipping and its been perfect so far.
@@noahvanooijen6640 yeah for sure, i would get the atk f1 as well its so hard to beat for the value ngl. But i think some people just go away from mouses from chinese companies bc QC issues or worry about those type of things but for me i would def take that risk and i have a mouse from atk and its amazing too
@noahvanooijen6640 some people feel like it's better to support the original team behind the shape rather the one that stole the design. But I agree, if you get the F1 Extreme and have a copy that has good QC, you can't really argue that the Hyperlight is better
@@YameStenfrom reviews i’ve seen, the hyper light is a bit better in some areas. im just wondering if the hyper light can double click. anyway its sold out so ill go with the ask version
I got it for like 74 euros but I think it's worth the price, i have a G502X wired but i hate the wire
Yeah for that price you can't go wrong with the Superlight
@@YameSten I like the shape of it, i dont really notice the difference in the sensor of the GPX and the G502X, i like the switches on the GPX and not the G502X
Hand size? And what do you use for top down view?
19.5 x10cm, I just use my phone plus a phone holder for the angle
@@YameStenIt looks great! What’s your main rn
I'm still using the F1 Extreme currently. I'll have the Sora V2 soon so I'll switch over to that for testing
i sold most of my mouse iam using now op1 8k and viper v3 pro how is it compare to hitscan hyperlight and xm2 4k ?
I haven't tried the Hyperlight yet, but compared to the XM2w 4K, it's lighter. But build quality and clicks I'll give it to the XM2w 4K
@ so i would go with the xm2w 4k even if the price is 150 US dollars in my country 😁
@@CAASTR0 well if price is an issue then you don't really have to get it. It also depends on what mouse shape you prefer and what hand size you have. Based on your used mice you alternate between small and medium to large mice. If you prefer a smaller shape, the F1 Extreme is a good pick, if you primarily claw grip and have a medium to large hand size, then the XM2w 4k is better
@ hand size is 19-10 and i think price is not a issue at all for me
@@CAASTR0 then yeah the XM2w 4K is a better built product compared to the F1 Extreme. You could also wait for the OP1w 4K, it comes out some time in November
Try the Quaoar Neutron Premium, I've been told this is the slowest mud pad. Lmk.
I'll see what I can do, not really locally available where I live, and shipping fees on AliExpress goes crazy lol
after 2 months, is the qck hard to wash, does it feel slower in the areas that you are the most with the mouse and faster where you aint that often, and how bad is the fraying? i think about buying the g640, the razer giganus v2 or the qck heavy. i have a rly low budget of 10 bucks, will buy it on black friday.
After 2 months of use, I haven't gotten any fraying on the edges of my QCK Heavy, and no uneven slow spots as of the moment. II don't really like cleaning my pad with soap and water since I've had a bad experience with it, I just either use a damp microfiber cleaning cloth or the boardzy method (lysol + microfiber cleaning cloth) to clean my pad. I think out of all the pads you listed, the QCK Heavy is the best choice if I'm being honest
Just got it for 140$ CAN in red
Not bad for the price! Hope you enjoy!
сними по больше видео про zowie u2, я хочу купить ее но сомневаюсь между выбором zowie u2 и op1 8k
Goat shape for claw is S2. I feel like U2 is just an attempt from Zowie to show that they don't need the old team (they resigned to found Vaxee) to make good mouse shapes
Well they're making an S2 wireless... But personally I didn't like the S2 shape that much for claw, and much prefer the U2 shape in my hand
Why your mouse sensor looks like blue light on it?
It's just the camera picking up the sensor, in actuality you can't really see it
do you think x1 ultra would be a great buy for 3k php rather than g pro x superlight?
For the same price? Yup!
When's the jupiter pro arriving? good review
Review coming out soon! Been testing it for a month already
Hi sir, this mouse good on minecraft?
Never played Minecraft but I don't see why it wouldn't
I'm also from the Philippines, what would be your recommendation for a dedicated control pad? Currently using a Pulsar Paraspeed V1 which I got. At only 500php from a friend. It works fine but my main game is valorant which I feel like a control pad would be better. My price would be 500-1k? Maybe a little more if it's that good?
For your price range, definitely the QCK Heavy. The only problem you'll run into is humidity, so it's ideal if you already play in a room with air-conditioning, or try a dehumidifier if it helps, so that the consistency of the pad remains predictable
@@YameSten assume I don't use air-conditioning, got any second suggestions?
You can try the Aqua Control +, but I think that pad also gets affected by humidity. I'd say just go with the QCK Heavy, play with a fan blowing air towards you, and just put cheap disposable dehumidifiers around your gaming room to help with humidity
nice review, keep up the good work !!
Thank you! 🙂
Hi Today i had to make a choice what should i buy atk or the superlight ?
I'd say the ATK X1 PRO if it's cheaper, since you get a better product. But I'm not sure if they've fixed their QC problems (some units I think had some creaking or scroll wheel issues). If they're the same price, it's a toss up tbh. The X1 Pro is objectively the better option because of the specs, but Logitech has better customer support in the event you get a problem, and it has more aftermarket parts since it is very popular
go atk f1 extreme or the mad r
@@YameSten thats help full thankyou
Thank you bro, I have been comparing between qck and emc for quite sometime. Here in Malaysia the price between these is not that much different. Both are still affordable and I think Im going with emc.
Yeah the EM-C would probably be the best choice, especially for the humidity resistance. Hope you enjoy it!
this is litearlly a viper v3 clone. just get the viper v3 hyperspeed.
But the Viper V3 Hyperspeed is- heavier, doesn't have a USB-C port so you're screwed if the battery dies out, has mechanic switches so it has a higher risk of developing double clicking issues, and the 4K dongle has to be bought separately. It may be a clone, but it's a better value especially compared to the VV3 Hyperspeed
Ordered this one today, got it for 2500 php :D
Noice. Unbeatable deal at that price IMO
Im looking for the best gaming mouse with bluetooth and a receiver compartment, no budget. Ik razer has some options but they are to my knowledge not as light or optimized for gaming as these mive from atk/vxe/vgn. Currently I have a sprime pm1 but need to change to something with bluetooth and a receiver storage compartment, is the atk x1 pro a significant downgrade? Also can you recommend any other mice with BT, eecirver storage, and good for gaming? Great video! Thank you!
The ATK X1 Pro has a receiver storage compartment for the 2.4Ghz connector, and has Bluetooth, although I haven't tested the Bluetooth capability so I can't give my opinion on it. The ATK X1 Pro is like 80% there when compared to the VV3 Pro, so I wouldn't really call it a significant downgrade
@@YameSten thanks!
Whats your hand size an which grip style do you hold the mouse?
I have 19.5x10cm hands and I claw/knuckle claw when gripping the mouse
Do you have any insights or suggestions where I can buy a mouse grip and mouse glide pads for the ATK X1 aside from included on the box? Can I use the mouse grip for VV3 to my ATK X1?
Unfortunately the shell size of the clicks and side button placement are different, so the ones for VV3 Pro won't fit the X1 Pro. My suggestion is just get Pulsar Supergrips (either DIY cut it, or get some universal pre-cut options they sell) and dot skates. I haven't seen Tiger Ice V2's or Jade skates for the X1 Pro yet
@@YameStenhey i heard u talked about tiger ice v2 what are your thoughts on them
@@striqeuryt9337 they're nice and smooth when gliding around cloth pads
@ tyyy
ATK X1 or Viper V3 Pro click which mouse click is louder?
ATK X1 Pro clicks sound louder compared to the Viper V3 Pro
Do you think the X1 Pro can catch up with the Viper V3 Pro with some mods?
I think the only real difference that made a significant difference to me was the coating, I just prefer the coating and feeling of the VV3 Pro compared to the X1 Pro. If you prefer matte/chalky coating, then the X1 Pro better would be better. I don't really see a reason to mod the mouse, unless you want better battery life, and if that's the case just go with the X1 Pro Max I think
get the x1 ultra for 15$ more
@@ajkii1487 I tried it for like a week. The sensor often had some random readings and I returned it.
The X1 Pro battery life is measured at 1K or 8K?
1K Hz polling for both but I had eSports mode on, so that probably affected battery life. But I think the lighter weight is just due to the smaller battery, which is the tradeoff
Just ordered this one today, your review was very informative. Im also picky with scroll wheels and my pulsar x2h had a very very loud scrolling with rattle.
Hello, thank you for this review can you update me about qc after this time?
Still the same. Although I did see some people posting some QC issues they got, so your mileage may vary
how did you set up the 8k dongle po? My pc only detects my x1 pro with the 1k dongle but when I connect the 8k one it says that the last usb device i connected malfunctioned
you need to download the software from ATK's website then just follow the pairing process. What I did was use the mouse in wired mode first and the 8k Dongle attached to the USB cable, and have the 1k dongle unplugged from your PC
