i got a similar model and isnt runing properly ...i watch ur video and i saw u mount Washer on shaft before propeller... mine was after propeller .. was mine mounted in a wrong position?

Hi. I have same motor. Slight oil leak coming from between prop and housing. I’m suspecting it’s the seals? Your gear oil looks like milk. Is that because water is getting thru the leaky seals? Thanks for posting!!
@jjlbridge7877 I use a more tan looking gear oil which looks milky over time. But yeah a leaking seal will make the oil look milky Thanks for watching Hopefully it helped.

thats actually a very common thing mechanic shops LOVE and I mean LOVE to ruin your Jeep Cherokee lug bolts. i wouldn't be surprised at all if they use the special stripped lug bolt removers to mess your bolts up on purpose so you have to bring in your vehicle for any issues with your wheels to prevent u from diy taking them off yourself. After they ruined mines i had it with them and started going DIY for everything because u cant trust these scumbags if they cant even do a simple thing like torque in your bolts right imagine what else they do, found that about my brake job too later... anything they touch high chance they mess up or do something wrong. if u can find an honest mechanic that does thigns the right way these days thats gold.

I have been to the bay 2 years in a row to catch catfish. Next year I am taking my own boat. You are correct it’s an amazing fishing spot. I like to catch fish really doesn’t matter the species. Thanks for making the video.

I used to love to fish Berlin for walleye, but in the last several years all I catch is catfish no matter the live bait, lure, or presentation. Berlin is catfish paradise but lacking when it comes to walleye. But, it is always good to feel a fish on the line regardless of the species. Good video my friend!!

I just bought the I- pilot upgrade for my powerdrive. Haven’t got to use it yet. Question for you. When you recorded a track running your big engine did you have to deploy the trolling motor? Since there is not an on off switch for the powerdrive.. thx
I have not ran a track yet with my outboard. I would say you would not run it with the trolling motor down. My head unit will run a track with the motor stowed. This weekend I will run one and let you know Thanks for watching.
@@earlybirdfishing no I would prefer to record a track with the trolling motor stored, but a guy at minn Kota dealer told me the trolling motor has to be in the deployed position because of some sensor in the head unit. But I don’t believe that to be true. I’m actually gonna try to get out tomorrow and try. Ty

Good for navigation, but don't to much trust on that itself because it'll make you to lazy & doesn't see any water hazards, obstructions which you can hit by not paying attn: a good capt. is always alert screening his surroundings!

That's a wonderful question. I'm running maxx everstart. Maxx-29dc 800 Marine crank amp,105 amp hours@20hr. I get way more battery life with this motor vs the foot control allterian bow mount. I can get around 20 hours of running time depending on the weather conditions and of course higher speeds with lessen by some but not to much. Thanks for watching.
I have a 12v interstate 90Ah and ran it from 7:30 am til I left around 1:30 pm and still had battery left.. running a terrova 55lb thrust and I love it not one time did I drop my weighted anchors, this is the Bomb

Yes I did hear about the trouble with the dam and it's on the low priority list for them as of now. I do remember years ago they completely drained this lake most likely for the same reason. Hopefully it doesn't get to that point again. Thanks for watching and good luck on your fishing adventures.
@@earlybirdfishing yeah, I heard from the Rangers sadly they going back-and-forth on who’s supposed to fix it so it doesn’t sound like it’s gonna get fixed anytime soon. They might be satisfied enough the way it is and that might be the new lake. Also thanks, you as well! We’re heading up to fish the St. Clair River in Michigan! If you guys travel, you should check it out. 4hrs away and one amazing fishery. And you don’t have to have a big boat like you would on lake Saint Clair or Erie.
@@earlybirdfishing two other things I just thought about, I read your description late and I’m looking forward to see how you do trolling with live bait if that’s what you meant. We tried it and didn’t have any luck, but I think it can be very successful as it hasn’t been introduced that much on the lake from my knowledge.. hell when I started fishing for the wipers, there in 2021 almost nobody knew about them and anytime I would catch one they would come up asking me. And we could go out and and get on multiple fish per person no problem. But after that Dam started leaking and the lakes level stayed down. The bite slow down. Even the bass tournaments were not producing the numbers normally would. And the other thing I was going to tell you is. I don’t know if you use UA-cam studio or not. But after your video is uploaded, you can go back and click edit and add tags under the tag section and then you can add a couple of tags in your description. This will help your video show up during searches on UA-cam getting you more traffic. For example, when you look on one of my videos right on the top it has the tags!

It works all by itself. But you can buy a cable and attach it to a hummingbird as well.

Yeah the bigger lakes and the pleasure boaters can be annoying! Hardly anyone has respect!
Do you miss your foot pedal? That is my only "hang up" at this point. I have a powerdrive 55 non-ipilot but I can purchase the upgraded head; this also eliminates the foot pedal. There's times I have been casting and manuvering with my foot so not having that option anymore has me hesitant. That said, I'm certainly not going to buy the terrova to have both; my power drive is still semi-new.
I actually don't miss the foot petal at all. I do love the freedom of controlling the boat from anywhere. With the Due north mode and track mode for most of the time I'm actually fishing or just hanging out till we get something on. For me it was the best boating purchase I have ever bought.
i just bought th Terrova 55lb thrust and it comes with a foot pedal, love it , haven't hooked up the foot pedal yet ,,,Remote only

I upgraded my 55lb and absolutely love the remote vs. foot pedal. I thought it would be odd to get used to but it really isn’t; it’s actually quite liberating not being tied down to the front of the boat. I never realized how much of my boat deck I didn’t use because of the foot pedal; I almost feel like I have a brand new boat being able to use all the deck space & not have to be close to the foot pedal. It’s great!

If you like to fish from a boat, the I pilot makes life pretty nice but it definitely comes at a price. They're not getting any cheaper either, my terrova has went up $500 since I bought it.

The easiest way to catch fish is with live bait...unless you like throwing baits all day like I do. The best way to catch them is to go and see what they are attacking.
