I’m going to tell you right now. As someone who grew up playing hockey, and wore pretty much those exact same Bauer helmets. Those helmets only protect you from cracking your skull open. You can still get a concussion wearing one.

I still have my old pair of Olathe bullriding boots. Still in great shape...ex girlfriend bought them for me when i competed in 1997. Still fit fine...might need to stretch them out a little.

I've seen this helmet in person and it definitely looks like good quality, but I just don't understand why people don't switch out the face masks for stiffer sturdier ones such as the crooked horn or other upgraded face masks on the market
