I was there and I was nine years old. I asked my Mom "why does that man have banana skins on his head?" Meaning the Governor, my Mom said "very good question"
I was also there,i was 5 years old. We lived in moshi, in that occasione i was in Dar with my parents.

Hi As a young schoolboy growing up in Dodoma, I remember Bibi Titi. She used to visit my parents' house often. I remember she and my mother Sheroo Keeka were in a womens organisation ( was it called TWC?). Lovely film brought back a lot of happy memories
Very interesting video I think these kind of videos should be exhibited during all 'Independence day" ceremonies in order to remind the Tanzanians on our long motivating background
