“There was much violence.” “They were marrying and given in marriage.” I’m sure there was a lot of sex slavery and trafficking. The only thing I think is faling short in this scene is that it looks like a very primitive society, whereas the pyramids and other structures actually suggest they were much more advanced than we often suspect. I also think it’s weird that the giants are portrayed as characters from lord of the rings instead of … you know… just very tall people… anyone thought of that? The “sons of god” intermarrying with the “daughters of men” has been grossly misinterpreted by most of the Christian world, and simply refers to marrying outside of the covenant people. Just like there are references of “becoming children of Christ” means “followers” and not literal children.

It’s not cannibalism…if you listen closely, the man with the girls was actually the father. He tells the wife “we have to eat!” Then when he reaches the gates you can hear him yell “I have 2 girls to trade!” And as they pull the girls away the man receives food back in payment. Considering the people on the other side of the gate had armor, it’s most likely they were of a much more advanced civilization that had more resources

The story is completely inaccurate in this movie, visuals are haunting tho. Noah's family did not ask to let anyone else inside I think everyone knew the judgment, and also the Bible says everyone constantly thought about sin and evil things to do, so essentially those were evil people on the mountain

This is one of the most terrifying scenes ever. It is a grave sin to eat anything that is still alive, this just shows how fucked up ancient people were before the flood. Thank you Jesus for showing us the correct way to live.

Bruh, this is fiction, but I wouldn't be surprised if it happened. I mean, there are a lot of people who don't have an ounce of remorse for hurting animals. That poor animal was still alive, definitely things I would have preferred not to see.

I will never understand how this movie didn’t get an R rating, especially with it being a Darren Aronofsky movie. This movie was absolutely dark and twisted almost on the same level as another.

The fact that Noah didn’t want to help out those people screaming on the rock made me hate this character. That shot is horrifying.
