I would hazard a guess that this is a direct result of the way the game handles oil friction. As far as I can tell any entity on oil has either highly reduced or nonexistent friction values, thereby preventing standard acceleration/deceleration. As for the direction of movement, I hazard the following guess: The individual door models/hitboxes intersect those of the slope, which while not normally a problem, when friction is removed from the equation the door recognizes this flaw, and attempts to solve the issue by sliding along its presumably locked horizontal axis in order to separate itself from the slope’s hitbox. All just guesses as an ammeter game dev myself thought
