Slower paced survival let’s plays with shaders!
I've been a Minecraft superfan since I was a child, I've watched countless hours of let's plays and I always looked forward to the moment I'd be able to play myself. And now that moment has arrived! I got my gaming computer and I'm ready to go with my first series. I'm going to really take it slow and enjoy every step of the way. If that sounds good, follow me along this exciting journey!

Loving your channel Heatherite. It's been both fun and relaxing watching through your playlist. I'm looking forward to the next episode
You used bone meal to make the trees appear. I left that suggestion on one of your videos, but guessed you'd probably find out about it. I'm almost caught up with your videos, these have been a joy to watch and listen to
Knee surgery, ankle repair, ambulance chasing injury lawyers ... Even with all the falls, that is a cool house. Looks great
You momentarily turned into a chipmunk. One thing about your channel is that you have had plenty of fun moments. It adds to the enjoyment
You may know this by now, but just in case you make trees grow by placing them in a square of four, the way you did, and then add bone meal. I recently saw someone do it on their channel
Trial and error is the best way to learn. Good start to your base. I'm not certain if I'm going to have a Twitch, but if I do I'll follow you there too.
You call it a nightmare, but the storyteller in me wants to create a folklore style myth about why the land is broken, and why things are floating. But well done on facing your worst nightmare and surviving 🙂👍
You know, you made me realise that my world could really use some lore. I'll think about it! And thanks ahaha, it was a tough mental challenge.
I think the villagers are getting you back for all the times you were sleeping in their beds 😂
I'd never thought about it that way... so hypocrite of me ahahah
🎉 You've found Colonel Meow🎉 so typical that he'd disappear again only to be found in someone else's house. Cats 🙄
Lmao I know it was so freaking funny. I love cats 😭
😂 Don't apologise, that villager was definitely invading your personal space. I would of woke up and hit him too
Well thank you! Still feel pretty bad 😅
Macavity 😂 Wonder if it's first name is "Phil". Phil Macavity.
That is genius ahahah I will have to manage to get that back into my game somehow.
I love this video!
Thank you!
your videos are a delight to watch.
Thank you so much!!
hi
I'm gonna watch all of these videos in a row.
Ahaha sounds like a good plan! Enjoy! :)
Just found your channel, going to watch while working on another video
Ahh amazing! Thank you :) all the best with your video!
Hello there, just wanted to tell you that the villager trade rebalance is an option you can toggle on world creation. In vanilla minecraft there is (as far as I know) no way to change that after the world already started but maybe there's a mod or something that can change that.
Oooh thank you for mentioning this! I'm glad they're giving us the option to choose, that's a fair way to go about it. I'm mildly upset I missed it ahaha, but I guess I can just avoid breaking the villagers' workstations for now. I will definitely toggle the option on for my next let's play though!
if you have a Nvidia graphics card then I recommend a mod called Nvidium you also need a mod called sodium for it to work, Nvidium is a render mod it is the best mod for render distance. If you have a good say a 3080 you can increase distance to around 100 without too much fps drops which beats the default 32 whilst lagging. idk check it out
Hey thank you this is really good advice! Always looking for ways to get a further render distance. Yes I do have a Nvidia graphics card so it would be really useful (though a 3060 ti rather than a 3080). I seem to remember though that Nvidium doesn’t support shaders? Or am I thinking about a different mod?
@@HeatheriteYT 3060 would work find I still get 140 fps with a 2080 with 64 render distance with nvidium. there must be a way to have shaders work with it. if not there is the mod distant horizons that increases render distance and also a mod called bobby is another one
I'm sure you know this already, but you could put waterlogged oak slabs in the water sources to hide them if you want - might look cool as they'd tie in with the oak stairs. Either way, I'm thoroughly invested in this crop farm now, can't wait to see how it turns out!
I had no idea waterlogged oak slabs were a thing! I ended up using leaves ahaha but I guess it’s less “aesthetic”. Looking forward to showing the final result!! I’m pretty proud of it tbh
YOOO Girl we missed you
Ahhh thank you!! Glad to be back!
This was definitely a nice episode length!!! It’s hard to find time to sit down and watch videos longer than 25 minutes.
Hey thank you so much! And I agree. It's difficult to find a good balance!
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
An unexpected, convoluted crop-making thing? **turns on notifications** :))
Ahahah glad to know that's what really drew you in! I have a feeling the finished product will end up matching my description of it :D
Nice Video you gained a sub:)
Thank you so much! :)
The bridges and paths are coming along nicely, I even gave you a virtual high-five when your tunnel came out at the exact right spot haha, love when that happens!! And glad to hear that you're going back to shorter and more frequent episodes - not that I'm particularly bothered either way, but because it sounds like it'll be better for you, and that's the most important thing. Looking forward to the next one!
Hey thank you so much! That was truly a satisfying moment ahaha thank you for sharing your virtual high-five! And yes, hopefully I'll get into the perfect structure and rhythm with the episodes. All these kind comments you've been leaving are really a highlight of my day. Hope you keep enjoying the series :)
Great episode, its all looking so great! I share your compulsion to do a project start to finish in one episode. I also just recently had to stop working on a project and post an episode with an unfinished build. Its a tough decision to make but I think, generally your are in the right direction. Shorter episodes are more convenient for both yourself and the viewers even if that means splitting a project across multiple episodes. So glad you are able to share your journey with the world and I personally have been enjoying every step of the way. Keep it up!
Ahh thank yo so much! Yeah ahaha I'm glad you understand the struggle. It just feels so wrong to not finish something straight away, it actually makes me so much more impressed of all the youtubers that do make these big projects and upload like once a week. Really appreciate your care for this series, it's been such a fulfilling journey and I'm glad that it's getting enjoyed on the other side as well. All the best and see you in the next episodes :)
👋
i love how your productivity keeps increasing the quality of your contents keep it up! ❤
Thank you so much! This felt really nice to hear ☺️
What attracted me was you’re a new MC lets play player that seems passionate in starting in the age of SMP trending. WHAT MADE ME STAY WAS YOU’R ALSO A GIRLLLLL ✨✨🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
Heyy there!! Glad to hear I’ve got so many good things going on ahaha! Thank you for taking the time to leave this kind comment and for joining my channel!! Hope you keep enjoying the series 🥰🥰
I just joined your channel and I love you channel and videos
Hi there! Thank you so so much!
The bridge and path are coming together nicely! If you feel like the cobbled deepslate walls are too much on the bridge, you could try staggering them on each side, so there are gaps. Like 2 walls, and then 3 blocks of air, then 3 walls, etc. I do that a lot with fences on my paths, but not sure it would work on the bridge. As for what to do with the cave, here are some things that came to mind: - Garden or wheat field - Pig pen - Entrance to a mineshaft - Nether portal area Hope you're enjoying your holiday!
Hello there!! Thank you for the very thoughtful considerations. I shall give them a try (and if it doesn’t work for the bridge, I’ll definitely use this method for the paths). And thank you for also taking the time to give cave suggestions! So many options with that one, I do look forward to seeing it transformed somehow. Thank you for the holiday wishes and see you in the next episode! Should be coming out soon enough :)
YOOO, nice video! Have a nice trip heaterite, we will be waiting!
Thank you for the nice wishes!! Will record some more soon!
Nice content, now you have a brazillian viewr
Muito apreciado! Hope you enjoy the rest of the series! :D
Hi!!I love how cozy your videos look and the architecture is so cool
Hey! Thank you so so much! Glad to hear you appreciate my nonsensical architecture ahaha
I died like that and it was so frustrating!!! I think you can sleep during thunderstorms so that would keep you safe next time
Ahaha glad you understand the feeling! Yeah I don’t know what I was thinking. Next time hopefully I’ll have better reflexes with thunderstorms 😅
I also like auto sorters - chest inventory can get out of control so fast! I have been enjoying your videos.
Hey! Thank you for commenting and for saying you’re enjoying my videos! Yes I think I would lose my mind without an auto sorter ahaha I so look forward to building one!
Congrats on 100 subs, and on finishing the house!! It looks super cute and cozy, and it's got some great views from the inside. Loved the episode, laughed a lot, especially during the progress summary near the end, it was a relentlessly funny edit with all of the falling clips lol. The random text overlays sprinkled throughout also made me chuckle quite a bit. Looking forward to seeing what you get up to next episode!!
Ahh thank you! I just can’t live without big windows for the views when it comes to Minecraft houses so it’s nice to hear they’re appreciated by someone else too ahaha. And glad that you found the montage funny! I put a lot of love into it lol at a certain point I just gave up and decided to embrace all those falls. See you in the next episode :)
Starting Episode 2 now🎉
Nice! Enjoy the series ☺️☺️
Ill look forward to catch up to the whole series
Ahh thank you so much! I hope you enjoy it :)
Glad to hear you agree with my Mcdonald's analysis.
It honestly shook me to my soul lmao. But I think I'm in the clear now.
minecraft is a relaxing game.. maybe you are from a country near the mediterranean sea?
Minecraft is indeed very relaxing. And yes! You guessed right ahahah. I imagine not many other places regularly feature yellow houses 😅
Impressive cave indeed! I really love what Mojang did in the Caves & Cliffs update. Mining used to be so boring, but now it's literally an adventure every time!! That iron haul will probably last you a while, but if you find yourself needing more in the future and you want to try your hand at building an iron farm, I'd recommend Ianxofour's tutorial. It's ridiculously simple to build and will generate way more iron than you'll ever need. It also has a very small footprint. Either way, looking forward to the next episode!
Yes, it really did add a lot of depth to the game! And to be honest, I realise the cave I explored didn't even get close to how expansive they can be now. But it was exciting nonetheless! As for the iron farm, my plan is to keep this let's play as farm-free as possible, so I get to keep having an excuse to go and explore relatively often. Plus, all my iron golems have names! I would feel too terrible killing them for iron 😅 Thank you for following this series so closely!! See you in the next episode :)
Loving the series, and looking forward to the cave adventure!
Ahh that's so nice to hear! Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. Hope you enjoy the next episode too! :)
Love the way you speak your voice is amazing!! :] Great video!
Hey! Thank you so so much :) Reading this comment made my night!
