Ive been separate with my ex for 2,5 years. We know we love each other, even after separated. But one things and another we cant get back together. Sometimes he share this song on his social media, it hurt so bad for me too
Because i really love him, i do. but i don't want him to suffered bc of me. i was accused cheating on him with my bestfriend in our relationship (actually no) . But we still love each other and start wishy washy so called relationship without status after that. Even its feel like semi-open relationship, bc he too trying to seduce someone else at some point. But in the end, we cant let anyone have me/him. Actually we want get back together, but cant. Why? He really jealous bc of my boy-bestfriend, its gave him anxiety even when i dont like my bestfriend romantically. Its gave him an anger issue especially when he was with me. Everyday is a fight day. I was so wrong, bc i choose my bestfriend before him in this case. We dont wanna be together if we are not change. Sometimes he keep pushing me away, abandoned me. He said that iam just a problem and an obstacle bcs of my clingy behavior. I have anxiety disorder and fear of abandonment. That times, my bestfriend is the only one that understands me. In the end i still choose my bestfriend bc he really there for me and let my ex go. I even trying so hard to falling in love with my bestfriend bcs i dont want to be abandont and lonely. its feel like forcing my self to do something i dont want to but a must. Sometimes i still miss my ex bcs he is the love of my life. but deep down i know he is not for me. I hope he find a happiness in his life.

Me and my ex of 3 years used to play this song and sit in the train station soaking wet from the rain singing along to this with a bottle of jack daniels, I genuinely thought we was gonna play this song at our wedding one day… doesn’t matter how much you love someone and how much they apparently love you, nothing lasts forever and even though he cheated on me majority of the relationship and treated me like sh*t in the end, I will forever cherish the memories we had no matter what, I will always love him and appreciate the small things he has done for me.. Over the years that I found this song it has become my favorite of all time. I think the longing of wanting to be with someone that you simply can't be with because of wtv reasons and just loving them and wanting to have the life you always dreamed of with them. That.
