Who would’ve known if the one-off special would get remastered this year? It has been delisted many times and was only shown during the presentation. It turns out, that maybe it had a different direction.
Last year, around mid-October, two days before my friend’s birthday, I made a cover using my recording of every TIAOR episode. Supposedly, this wasn’t on my schedule because I had already planned on remaking DTR113’s Sparta Remix video, and the one-off special was not meant to exist in the first place. I asked myself, why would you want to make a gift rather than follow the schedule?
Fast-forward to the present. I feel this isn’t fun anymore. Producing Sparta Mixes has become tiring, and at some point, I want to retire for real this time. Another thing I want to address is the biological relationship. I mean, sure we share similar interests, but what exactly was it? Putting it aside since I want to keep this out of the way for next time, I have already said it from the TMLP Megamix & SR Remake series (Best known as TehAmericanSpartan Collection). But, It’s probably time to end it.
I’ve spent 6 years doing this crap, and it’s already falling apart. I found myself to be in a situation where people in the community treat each other badly. I mean, sure the personal enjoyment helped me keep going, but is it? If the content isn’t getting enough attention, what is the point of continuing if my health keeps declining? Nightmares, flashbacks, and isolation. Yep, that’s what I’m going through.
Anyway, remastering a one-off special cover felt unnecessary because I was originally going to delete it from my computer. Turns out this wasn’t the case as it was still in my Google Drive. I took them out and began reworking the layout to closely match my current style. It took 5 months to get everything perfect as the audio balance issue started to get on my nerves. Of course, I wanted to premiere it on my last day of high school, but there were so many delays and to the point where I would just give up. I didn’t. I got this resorted and the results were great. All I have to do is wait for the proper call to publish this, and here we are.
Finally, this may sound similar to Dr. Primeus’ farewell message to the Sparta Remix Community, but who knows? Sparta Remix is over. This means I’ll no longer make covers that follow the 300 This Is Sparta Meme formula and will be directly focused on YTPMV, with the absence of a chorus section. Also, if anyone wants to collaborate with me, I’m sorry, but I no longer accept those as I’m done with Sparta Remix for good. I’ll keep the SR videos on the public in case y’all want to watch them. There may be a chance the two postponed projects will come back if I have time to work on them. And maybe then, the Sparta Remix Collection will be completed.
Oh and one last thing, since this is the first anniversary of the special gift, I guess I’ll have to say it. To my friend, Thanks for everything. While we’re apart from each other, alongside with my bestie of my OG Silly Trio, I’m sure you’re going to be alright. I had to keep reminding myself to think positive all the time as there are more obstacles to approach. All of your friends care so much about you, especially your family because they love you and want you to keep pushing forward. I’m proud of you for achieving your goals. Keep it up and stay positive.
