About to become owners of a 78 Troopy and chopping the top immediately. I’ve been told various stories about console fridges. So this video is great. Finding that the Oztrail is narrow at the base is awesome! We still have the back seat for our dogs… so we can extend the fridge back into the footwell. (was planning 2 x 60L bladders there)

Where did you get those fly screens from.

Would love to see more vids guys. I think people are getting hung up on the idea that everything has to be edited with back tracks and transitions and "insta worthy" clips, so I hear what you say when you found it hard when travelling fulltime. I think there are lots of people here that would love to see videos on how it actually is - so just a raw, basic vlog-style channel would be great to see. All the best

Awesome set up! How did you install the anchor points through the ply that hold the battery down, did you just use screws or something more?

Awesome vids 👌 A little tip if you don’t already know. Turn your centre console fridge around, works better as a armrest. Save ya elbo resting in the cup holder. A1 rig 👌

Hi Guys been following your build and travels. Just a quick question about the Troopy. What type of rear springs do you have? I mean as in what are your rear leaf springs rated at. Our truck is slowly being built but is suffering a saggy rear end. And with all the extra weight to go in it it will be much worse. I have 400kg OME constants but they are much too soft. Thanks heaps. Have fun!! We’re in Townsville on acreage if you need to pull in for a rest sometime. Message us.

Quick question with the base floor !!! After you glued the sound detuning on the floor how did u fix your yellow tongue ply to the floor of the car ? Did u just sika it in? Or did you fix it with a bugle? I'm kinda scared to drill to the floor
