Please allow me to explain: I had a fantastic time! I went alone; didn't want to go alone, and at the last minute spent upward of $170 to sit stage left, about eight rows up. I wore a long sheer scarf around my neck with a black dress (very respectable type of dress). Whenever Maxwell walked over to that side of the stage to show some love to those of us in the neck cramp seats, I found myself on the verge of fainting.🫢 I can laugh now, but every time his fine self strutted over to stage left, I wanted to cry and scream and cry ... and faint. I could see Maxwell very clearly -- no opera glasses or binoculars needed. Well, in case you're wondering: But why would I say "my only Maxwell concert"? I mentioned the long, sheer scarf, right? OK, he was singing "Ascension" like the Earth angel he was and is, and I began scarf-dancing -- dancing in place while rhythmically pulling tugging the ends of the scarf. Suddenly Maxwell danced his way over, stage left again, and THIS time, he locked eyes with me and 😉ed and smiled! YES, he did! Maxwell winked and smiled at me! I could've counted his teeth, as he was so close, but I was too busy trying to sing with him. So ... the thought of my attending a Maxwell concert at my "shutchomouth" age now? No way; I'd probably have a heart attack. That's how much I love his art, his heart and his humility. I don't know Maxwell, but his music is meaningful, spiritual, erotic when he wants it to be ... and, yeah, he's foiiine ah. Too much for this ol' gal's ticker. Maybe attending with a few people would lessen the probability of a coronary event. Anh, I don't wanna risk it. And while I'm at it, I'd better stop staring at that image of Maxwell's NOW cover.❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥
