Totally agree with you, - all-black outfit with red shoes is not really my cup of tea. It screams: "Sexy devil!" too much. All-white outfit with red shoes, to the contrary, is more intriguing, because it mixes visual innocence with some spice.

I'm an artist studying color and I agree with your studies. Yellow is a color worn well by deeper skin tones. Also, it is a color worn well by warmer skin tones. If no warmth is in the skin, this color will make the skin look sick.
