Your roselle looks great! I tried 2years in a row and got nothing but leaves. Greens looking good too, and that’s cool how you overwinter your peppers. 😎
thank you
hi linda 🤗 great seed haul. new subscriber. can you list the names of the etsy stores you ordered from? ive ordered seeds from four places so far and am always looking for more. im in southern california, zone 10b/11a. tfs
Bountiful seeds, Beebeseeds, co, Zulu seeds
So how did your peppers look in the end?
Great.
What a shame. It's always so hard when you put so much into something to have it not work. This spring I tried to grow under grow lights. Everything was fine until I bought another bag of soil to up pot the rest of my tomatoes. That batch definitely got diseased. It deflated me until I realized it wasn't my fault and I had so much good growing already. I think at gardeners we have to grow a really thick skin😊.
I'm sorry to hear that. I'm glad you persevered
Love the new greenhouse!
thanks
Loooks great!
That’s a definite like just because of the rooster in the background. I always wondered about the seeds though.
Good morning Linda, your garden area looks great, wishing you a highly productive grow season.
Thank you! You too!
Where did you buy the planters for the strawberries? Thanks
I've bought quite a few of em at Dollar Tree
Those are dollar tree planters
Thanks. Didn't know that top watering caused damping off. They could explain what happened to a few of my plants that I watered in a hurry
Thank you
Ancho! Wow. Looks like we have the same inclinations. I'm going to have to give some tomato plants away. Onions are everywhere! There are alpine strawberries growing amok all along the side if the house in an area 4x12 ish. At least they make a good ground cover. Last year I was overrun with hybrid squash.... Not making that mistake again. They didn't taste right at all. Sticking to seed packets and planting one type at a time so the seeds will stay true. Trying to limit what goes in and be more organized. But yours look really good. You should get a great yield. 👍
Lol I do not know how to use these. Give me some suggestions
Love chamomile. Smart tip for tags. What did you write with. Mine always fades
Garden pen. I bought a whole set from Amazon for 14.00
What a great idea. Injecting bt. I'll have to remember that one.
I love planting peppers. They look cool in the garden.
Yes they do
So pretty. What are the flowers called? The tiny orange and red ones? Like this little trellises. I have a love/, hate relationship with our squirrels. The other day while I was making the 4x8 bed squirrel proof by husband starting laughing. He said there's a squirrel here watching you intently. Probably trying to figure out how to get in when I left. So far so good! 😊
Lol. Someone said they watch you plant, then go dig everything up.
Some seeds I've had were too old, they didn't germinate. Some didn't germinate cause I found out it was too cold in my basement. I brought the ground cherry upstairs and sat on the ovena few times then up it came.😊
Nice carrots. I didn't know that nitrogen would make them hairy the first time I planted carrots. Also didn't give them soft enough soil. We have clay and stones. It's definitely soft this year!😊
Great idea
Aww. Cute😊
I got a lot of fingerings last year. Used a 5 gallon bucket and a recycle box. Not with the time and energy. Maybe one day.
Nice. That's fancy. Don't have a planner. Not that I don't need one. Just not that organized.... Yet!😊
Squirrels! Yup. I hear you.😂
Nice. Hey a little every day is enough. last year my husband saw how "few" the raspberries were and couldn't be bothered with them. Well I harvested a little bowl everyday for quite a while and what I didn't eat that day I put on the freezer. It was enough for a couple of desserts in the winter. The Bible says, "despise not the day of small things." I try not to, but thank God for every blessing great and small. This year we will be planting some strawberries. Hope and pray those squirrels leave them alone😊.
Those look good and healthy.
That's a good size leek. Hope mine grow that big.
Neat idea
I threw some lettuce seeds in one of those micro green containers. Boy did they grow. It's the type that has a little reservoir in the bottom and a tray on top with holes. The holes were big enough to pull the seedlings out and plant. Now I have amazing romaine lettuce planted in pots. Going to try the iceberg lettuce next.
I have to protect all my plants and even seeds in the ground from the squirrels. I know how you feel. The chipmunk last year was worse but thankfully he's not sticking around.
Looks good. I've thought about hydroponics but not to keen on getting involved in buying all the food necessary. And how did you get fungus? I thought that came from soil. So far I have grow lights. I love stevia. Will have to look for some seeds. Green t gardens is the first person I've seen with your kind of setup. He does a lot of reviews.
😃🎉 Great Video
😂Ahhh, so I'm not alone. I'm getting better at it but still slip up with keeping track of what my seedlings are. One or two pots simply say random peppers. Oh well, at least I recognize that they are peppers. Sorry to hear your grow lights stopped working.
That's interesting. Soaking pepper seeds. First year for me with grow lights, barista. Everything grows ok.
Love your upgraded seed trays!
Great idea for a start. U got some good deals too. Thanks for sharing. 😊 3:04
Love that you are doing dahlias from seed. Can’t wait to see how your flowers look when they bloom!
Thanks for sharing
They just got me at Walmart with these. I have those same exact planters and I planted the roots anyway today although they all look dead. I also have one from Lowe’s that are already sprouted.
Wow, your cup tomatoes do look awesome! 🤩 Radish pods are so delicious. You are in for a treat. What a wonderful tour! 🌱
I came over to your channel after seeing a post from The Lion at The Greenthumb Gardening channel. You have a lot of seedlings that are doing very well and a greenhouse is going to be a great addition to the garden 🪴 Thx for sharing
Thank you. Happy growing
