Awesome job! My favorite song to play on C6! Can you tell me what strings your'e hitting on the bridge up at the 8th fret? Also, whats the chords right before you go to the solo? Thanks!
Thanks, and sorry for the delayed reply - the chords right before the solo are with pedals 7&8, bar moves from fret 6 down to 5 (D9th chord) The part on 8 frets is probably pedals 5&6 down, and string 3 lower. Try that out… thanks for commenting I watched Buck Reid play it once (on my guitar) in Steel Guitars of Nashville when I bought my Emmons… that was where I learned part of the song

Fine job and nice tone. You played the phrases exactly like Emmons. You had to listen to his version a lot to catch all the subtle changes that weave through the melody. Chimes were perfect. I seen Buddy Emmons several times at various steel shows over the years. The master is smiling.
