I had the opportunity to test these goggle prototypes for freediving. They are filled with air and don't need to be equalised. It make everybody hands-free, you can use a nose clip and equalise without using your hands. Pretty amazing, hope to see them in shops soon!

      exactly... I struggle to equalize so fast on the way down... plus it takes effort so I imagine it affects your overall hold time no??

    • @emilecastelnuovo
      @emilecastelnuovo 6 років тому

      +Mr. geared these are special prototype goggles that let you use a nose clip. They don't need to be equalised with air as they have a special soft silicon membrane that collapses with pressure without you losing the ability to see through the glass lenses

    Ciao Emile, sono curioso! Ci puoi dire qualcosa di più su questi occhialini? S

    • @emilecastelnuovo
      @emilecastelnuovo 6 років тому

      +Federico Cozzi ciao. Sono dei prototipi e a quanto pare saranno in produzionetra poco . Hanno una membrana di silicone all'interno e fuori sono rigidi la membrana di silicone collassa con la pressione lasciandoti comunque la visione attraverso il vetro frontale. La scocca rigida esterna è bucata in modo che l'acqua possa passare e permettere alla membrana di collassare. Mi hanno detto che sono stati testati fino a 50 metri oltre iniziano a diventare un pochettino fastidiosi però potrebbero arrivare fino a 55 60 .

    • @emilecastelnuovo

      +Federico Cozzi quelle che vedi erano intorno ai 18-25 metri. Le più piccole che nel filmato non si vedono anche a 10 metri.

    Amazing. Really hope I reach this depth someday! Right now im at 25 meters, but the dive was 2 minutes. I dont go deeper now because I'm still very young (just became 13yo). My freediving teacher (Carlos Coste) says I should not go deeper than 25, for now.

    • @emilecastelnuovo
      @emilecastelnuovo 6 років тому

      I have seen your videos, you are very good! If you are 13 and go easy to 25m. then you will sure be able to get to 51... not like me old guy... :D But if Carlos says you shouldn't go, please listen to him. You will have time to grow as a freediver. Don't hurry, enjoy every meter of your dives! Bravo!

    That's a whole lot better then loosing 1/2 a prop on a quad... Done that once and lost the lot to a watery grave... VR Brain did a pretty good job of trying to level it out and might have landed if it hadn't been for that last flip... :)
