You can use the exact same logic for any blue chip FMCG company and label them as expensive too. But these organized players are not competing for market share with each other, they are actually gaining market share from India's massive unorganized market. Consumers are still shifting from unbranded to branded products. That's why these consumer-facing companies won't trade at 30 PE in the near future.

9:35 bro, I am also from Bangalore, but Bangalore is not the only city in South India. Other places like Andhra, Tamil Nadu, Hyderabad region, North and coastal Karnataka were suffering from severe heatwave throughout Q1, with record temperatures seen in many places. You could have just Googled it. I'd say give the management some time and don't jump to quick uninformed conclusions. Stock is anyway trading very cheap due to some of the other reasons you mentioned. Raymond and Birla don't have the same brand recall in this segment in this region which Kalamandir does. I'd also recommend visiting a nearby KLM Fashion Mall so that you can see that the company also sells cheaper items like 1000-2000 ke sarees.
