The LVA Podcast: Episode 1 "Embracing Change and Breaking Labels"
I have always loved Fred Astaire, he has been my idol since I was a child. His charm, elegance and charisma are still insurmountable. I have recently taken up swing dancing (I used to be a ballroom dancer), I am also considering delving into the dark waters of competitive ballroom once again. The young people who I meet on the dance floor cannot understand what I mean when I say that Mr.Astaire is THE person who I aspire to. They are all full of energy, technically often superb, fast and skilled but, well, somethings seems to be missing. Thank you for the video!
Thank you for the interview! I am so happy I have come across your channel!
Loved Joanna in the jury of DWTS in Belgium. Showing them how it's done. ua-cam.com/video/_CG9ZJxh3jo/v-deo.htmlsi=3g-OvIqiJ1zkE0PL
Thank you for this insightful podcast. Learned a lot from this - quite riveting.
Enjoyed the interview and your passion for the industry of ballroom dance and Dancesport. I remember that announcement in Miami.
#AskLouis Do you have any insight on this fall's season of DWTS, such as 'will you be on it?' - praying you will!
#AskLouis I would love to hear your thoughts on this past season of SYTYCD...the judging, the entire change of format, etc. I did not like it, and I've always been a HUGE fan. Looking forward to your perspective!
You are so very insightful! With experience and age comes wisdom!
I love what you said about not labeling - and that your boys can love whomever they want. What a great dad you are!
#asklouis when you were dancing was len a hard judge
#asklouie i cant believe your children are so grown up with your divorce do they see their other dad much or are you the main dad
Louis i cant believe your boys are growning up so fast daniel getting his learning permit
Beautiful birth of your wonderful sons
She would be kicked in the knees
How are the boys
I agree with you and your husband. You are the the best parents
#askLouis What was your first TV appearance--other than DWTS?
My partner and I plan on adopting since I'm infertile, but only when we're financially ready to take care of children.
Why?????
Can you please say sigma rizz in your next video
That's really sad when you're 18 you're only a kid, they really need more help than that. That's not not fair.
Thank you SO much for helping Kelly, u can tell she luvs u so much !!!👏👏👏👏

Who are you talking about?
Girl I don’t even know…😂😂😂
😂😂😂
Can't wait to hear!🥰
It was meant to be!
I love this episode. Thank you for all you do Louis ❤
I'm kinda hoping you get a call from the show soon. That would be so epic! Especially since a lot of rumored celebrity women in this year's rumor mill are in your ballpark for height. ❤🎉 Sending l9ve and positive energy to you in these next few weeks, and can't wait to see you when you're back. 😊
Thanks for the update!
Louis, I have learned something new about you on each podcast. I've always admired the relationship between you and your mom. Can't wait to hear about your next steps in this journey. I've always felt you made everyone in your classes feel comfortable.😊
Everything about this podcast was incredible from beginning to end. What an amazing journey you've had in your 52 years! Cannot imagine being Mik and all the emotions she's experienced raising you! She's so fantastic...nothing like a mother's unconditional love! This is all very therapeutic for you, I know! '
Happy Birthday Louis🎂
Loved this podcast you inspire me to work hard and achieve my goals.thank you louie❤
i was on the edge of my seat listening to this. What amazing accomplishments winning the Grand Slam. That's a ton of stress and I certainly can understand why there was so much pressure in 1995 over 1994. It's harder being the Top Dog as opposed to being the Underdog. So proud of you both! Truly astounding and amazing! One more thing - bring back the ponytail! I loved those clips with your hair like that!
Podcast 14 and 15 - wow! I don't know how you got through these. I couldn't see the screen at times through my tears! You shared your stories so well...bringing up all the emotions and memories can be hard but therapeutic, as well. You most certainly have a Guardian Angel, and she was totally responsible for the rumba after your winning the world championship! I believe it fully!
OMG Louie such an emotional story, thank you so much for sharing this amazing story.
Love you sooooo much.......... Lots of love your 'sister' Wendy
You definitely have your Guardian Angel! Love that you persevered through negativity in the industry & fought hard!!
This story is SO powerful!! Thank you for sharing. I’m crying as you tell it with every emotion you shared ❤
Hi Louis I don't know if you can watch the again, but when you were talking about the funeral and Marcela's Dad talking there's a white screen for just a moment in the podcast. If you didn't put that in maybe it is Marcela making an appearance.
What a year 1994 was for you. No doubt Marcela was your guardian angel. Very special person you were to eachother. You expressed yourself so beautifully Louis. Thank you for sharing this very important part of you.
#AskLouis… I have 2 questions. 1. Do you speak any languages other than Dutch and English? 2. Do you ever get sick Cold, Flu, Allergies etc.? I look forward to seeing you at LifCon in July!
#Ask Louis, is mambo a Latin dance that is done in competitions?
Always a great podcast. Thanks, Louis!
Thank you, Louis! I needed to hear that.
Another interesting and informative podcast...I learn a lot from tuning in!
#AskLouis If the producers of DWTS came to you and asked: 'We're giving you the option of coming back this season as a pro dancer or one of our judges.'' How would you reply?
#AskLouis, have DWTS considered having non-celebrities like me to performed on their show with one of the Pros?
#AskLouis, Is there a ballroom class for 50 and over?
Dankjewel! I understood all of the Dutch. I've raced with my wheelchair through the entire Schiphol to catch my flight and also watched a Dutch female first officer living close to Brighton and working at Gatwick become a pilot on the British TV show Inside the Cockpit. I first noticed her accent - wondering where she origined from, then her last name.
Good question! Thank you. I am Flemish, and enjoyed the little part in Dutch.
@@ankhayratv I've spent 2 weeks at camps with Flemish people. One in Flanders and one in Sweden. Sometimes it was easier to understand the Flemish (especially written) than the English words.
