Have just finished reading Mark Bowdens Hue 1968 it’s a monster of a paperback!. I have been looking for a suitable set of Skirmish rules for Vietnam war whilst reading this book and you have solved the issue, especially as they are at squad level. Just found your blog and am now subscribed. One last thing how did you make the bases for your Hue buildings they look great.

Great terrain, figures and an interesting scenario. I’ve always wanted to do Goose Green as a battalion game using Crossfire. There are a couple of good books on the subject but it sounds like you’ve read them. Certainly a difference in command style after Keeble took over.

II would also recommend Bernard B Fall's Books as he really did a good job covering the conflict in Indochina. The French nearly whipped out the Viet Minh in 1946 in their first strike.

wowzers, havent had beer in a week, and now i can barely understand that...its english right lol cool vid, just givin you the business lol. great looking model. we (Alaska Gen-X Wargaming Club) like those gringo 40 viet nam figures, we use them as American militia in games vs regular American army figs from empress for our American civil war games. we call them 'north american militia' (NAM) good video, 2 thumbs up

I went down to the tabletop expo last weekend hoping to see you guys and other wargamers from the region there too, but I think I misunderstood what that event was about. Was mostly stalls selling wargaming things rather than games being demo'd. Lots of tournaments going on upstairs but it was Warhammer 40k, not really my thing so didn't hang around for that. Hope to catch you guys at an event soon.

I don't game WW2 these days, but even I'm tempted by these.

Do you use Citidal shade washes

They do like smart. The Wirbelwind turret looks tricky to clean and paint but detail is super. Love the Stummel breech guard. That sort of detail sells 3D. I would have liked a close up of the hull sides looking for layer-lines but looked pretty clean. The driver plug-in for 251 is a great piece of engineering. Very interested. Thanks Dougie

How do they compare sizes wise to other miniature manufacturers?

Stummel in particular looks fantastic.

There are some 3d printed 28mm Tuk-Tuk motorcycles you could use.

Some 3D printed Models are fantastic. I have purchased mainly from here in the US. I have had someone print up some FV432 Models and I have had some M-28 and M-113. Got a Conqueror from Butlers Printed Models in the UK but Postage has made the cost too high.
