I started out lacing all the way up in Chicago. The first day the guy teaching me said “you need learn how to skate with yo skates loosened bruh” Years later, my skates are loose enough that if I wanted I can pick my foot straight out of the boot. But if I don’t my skates stay on my feet. I’ve sacrificed some moves for others, but if there’s something specific I wanna do I’ll lace up tight briefly…

Yep, I struggle to pull that back foot forward and keep the momentum going. Looking at the two positions, I'm betting my A-frame is the weakness. I can't wait to get back to the rink and test this theory.
