I got lucky enough to make the top 40% of drivers and make it to the finals out a 3 event series by Golden State Comps. I wasn’t planning on making a video but since my buddy Gabriel recorded my second run I decided to upload it. My first run was horrible lol

May 5th 2024 Tenaja Falls Cleveland National Forrest, Ca I wanted to show my younger brother this spot before the water dried up. He decided to run it and I was okay with it but didn't want to do it twice. He took a nasty spill on the downhill, luckily he just sprained his ankle and was able to walk it off. I love crawling at the falls
We recently started going, only thing is that it takes a while on that sketchy road lol. San Juan Loop trail is nice also and easier to reach.
@@Evolverc I’ve been hiking tenaja for a while and rcing crawling there for 2 years. I take my Camry there often but I know it washed further. I haven’t gone since the winter. I haven’t done the San Juan loop. I love that road. If you go early enough you get to see the deer. Did you guys get buzzed by military black hawks yet?
@Djkommode yep, always see different helicopters and sometimes we hear explosions from the base. We're new to the area but pretty cool to have all these local trails.
@@Evolverc I always wonder if they ever mistake our radios for guns :))) especially when I point it at them with my go pro.

Good stuff! That track looks pretty sweet.
The surface is high grip like indoor but the main thing is that the owner and his wife are amazing, super friendly and welcoming!
Look like blast to drive I have 2.2 bomber ,wraith and going get axial yeti it really hard find those I should not sold those but will keep look for yeti and turn into true ultra4 on both bomber and yeti then crawler on wraith

Could a UDR on 2.2's run in a class there?
Unfortunately there's currently no classes for 1/7th sized cars.
@Evolverc The Losi Hammer Ray is the same size as the UDR though. Losi calls it a 1/10, but the hammer rey has a longer wheelbase than the UDR. Both can be ran 4s and can adapt 2.2 wheels to the UDR and no body on the UDR. People are using Hammer Rey body's on their SCX6 6th scale crawlers. The Hammer Rey is basically 1/7th scale and same setup as the UDR.
How do I get into this. Have watched all your videos and I have a hammer rey and would love to do this!!
The tracks we go to are mainly SoCal and NorCal so if you're in the area you are definitely invited to join 😁

For Hot Rods club racing you can pretty run the main popular brands for 8th scale and 10th scale, they even run nitro there!
