      Hi Charles and thanks for your question!!! I’ve never heard of that brand. I did a quick search and found an eBay listing, though. These are not the same as those. The Macys ones have stainless steel handles. The Energie one on eBay did not. I still use this cookware all the time. Just used the small one last night and it’s sitting on my stove!

      @@FiftysomethingandFABULOUSThanks for the info, I will take a look again because seems that Macy’s don’t have it anymore. I have the “Energie” one and still strong too after around 15 yrs, still looks new. 💪

    Hey, is it non stick

    • @FiftysomethingandFABULOUS
      @FiftysomethingandFABULOUS 9 місяців тому

      If you heat it slowly and use oil or butter to really coat the pan, things won’t usually stick. Stainless steel is not at all like Teflon coated cookware, but I don’t use that because of the toxic chemicals Teflon produces.

      We had no problems at all with it, but we did sell the house April 2021, so i can’t offer an answer on the performance past then. Check it out on Amazon and read the reviews there. I’m pretty sure it got really high ratings when I bought it, which is what helped me decide!!

    So pretty enjoyed watching him feed on the flowers -- like that small colorful hanging basket, I intend to purchase the same in hopes of attracting a hummingbird. I've rescued some in Newark during migration but most pass on impact. A Freind & I rescue songbirds that hit the glass skyscrapers in Newark NJ, Most that hit the skyscrapers perish on impact, or when fall to the cement pavement. TRT made a video named 'Window Strikes in the Business District' of us picking up injured Warblers. The Raptor Trust(TRT) nurses them back to health.

      @@TonyaJones0788 Low is what i use. Sometimes i'll start on high just to heat it up. (depends on your time frame)You can't over cook it. the longer the better. If you scrap the roast with a fork, it should fall apart like butter. If still tough, cook longer. Now every crockpot runs a little different. Good luck, hope this helps.

    That is a meal in one so we don't make side dishes for a Crock-Pot roast beef other than a loaf of crusty bread. Even then some people don't even make that.

  • @elizabethshaw734
    @elizabethshaw734 2 роки тому

    I do know that a sirloin tip roast does not shred like a chuck roast. I think from what I've seen in other videos I would marinate it in the refrigerator overnight and then cook it off with vegetables and all that the rest of it. When Crock-Pot cooking the vegetables go on the bottom and the meat goes up on top of the vegetables like a rack underneath it. It sounds like it was cooked too long and then osmosis happens and the meat begins to give off all of the juice that it picked up. But I always cut my vegetables bigger and put them on the bottom because there's no heat on the bottom you want your roast up where the heat is around the sides.

  • @elizabethshaw734
    @elizabethshaw734 2 роки тому

    I would make a fresh crusty boule to have with this! It will usually say what the potato is and they look like russetts. Your water has a bleach bath as well! Bleach is the least of our worries. I am purchasing an upright freezer and delivery is this week. I was looking at meat packages in one of them contains a sirloin tip roast which I am not that familiar with. It may be called something else but I don't know it looks like the pot roast my mother used to buy that was round and tied. It's definitely not a tri-tip it's a sirloin tip. So I'm looking around for rubs and recipes.

    • @FiftysomethingandFABULOUS

      Thanks for your questions and for watching!! The temperature of the water in a home has to do with how high the temperature on the water heater is set. It’s almost too hot to hold your hands underneath. The light gets its power due to the friction of the water passing through, and a hydro-generator. Nothing electric or anything that could shock you.

It could have been spaghetti, taco stew, or meatloaf (those were my most made dishes with 2 lbs ground beef....I ALWAYS made double portions so i could freeze half). It looks like the nozzle sits kind of low into the sink. My sink is a standard depth I guess, so to speak. Maybe a little bit more shallow than what yours are. Would you mind telling me how deep your sinks are? Also, do you have any issues with fitting/cleaning larger pots and pans with the nozzle so low??

    • @FiftysomethingandFABULOUS
      @FiftysomethingandFABULOUS 3 роки тому

      I’m pretty sure it’s 12”. You can pull the nozzle out and spray with it (which is what I did most of the time). Then it doesn’t really matter about the sink depth.
