Playing games on the B&O AV5 by using the build in CD-i player.
Put a cup of spaghetti on top of this for the fullest experience.
By casuality, do you have the owners manual? Thanks
How is gaming on this beauty ?
It’s a fine tube, but nothing special in my opinion. The looks are however amazing.
@@bartdekker5547 I can pick this up for 35,- Have you tried N64 and Ps1?
Bro a cdi tv now that’s cool
There are several CD-i TV's. I just posted another one: ua-cam.com/video/3WM_8A-RHTg/v-deo.html
Why are several of your videos marked as "made for kids", despite having no obvious appeal to modern-day children?
You get advert money. It's fair enough, this isn't viciously offensive to anyone!
Rip wallet
I always hear everyone saying Apple could never make a game console because of the failure of Pippin, which I think is an unfair assessment. For one thing, the Pippin came out during the no Steve Jobs reign. Apple as a company in the early 90s was doing pretty bad, even their Mac line up wasn't selling very good. Apple is a completely different beast now, so to assume that if they made a console now it would be just like the Pippin, is just plain unrealistic. Also like you said, this wasn't really a full blown Apple made console, this was the result of Apple licensing their software to other hardware manufacturers. This is more of a Bandai console than it is an Apple console. It'd be like saying Microsoft couldn't make Xbox because there's crappy computers that run Windows.
but like...where's the game play footage?
Awww... I used to play on a Videopac (Radiola Jet25) in the early 80s... and I just love the form factor of those two here... Wow
The videopac N60 looks like a modified Minitel.
In fact it is a modified minitel. I have wrote something about it on my website: www.novahollandia.nl/retro-gaming-consoles/philips-videopac-cd-i/philips-videopac-n60/
@@bartdekker5547 I have a minitel NFZ-9 from Spain and I love this console.
I used to have the G7200 1ST TIME I SAW THE N60
Ridiculously under powered and probably expensive to boot. I am assuming the monitor is part of it. Is that correct? I had an Odyssey 2 as a kid. My mother got one basically for free.
@@tarstarkusz yes the monitor is part of it. It was in fact, with a bit of creative thinking, the worlds first handheld. For more info see my website: www.novahollandia.nl/category/retro-gaming-consoles/philips-videopac-cd-i/
@@bartdekker5547 A stretch to say the least. I suppose you can call it portable in the sense of the first Compaq computer, aka luggable, but handheld? HELL NO! I agree with your assessment that the French model N60 you have is a nice looking machine. Did the N60 have the French teletext standard thing with the various services they had in France?
Een uit de oude doos :)
