Looks very effective. The brass looks like its part of the blast, but its close to the camera angle.
Beautiful aeroplane.
Bloody beautiful 🦘👍

Great shot, impressive flying, braking, banking, stalling, recovering and then snatching a very small fishy off the surface, which was less impressive compared to a pro fisher like the Osprey. Loved you capture, watch eagles a fair bit here right now. They are awesome looking birds up close. Thanks , 🙂
That was my first time visiting that location and view is really nice. Plenty of birds and they fly very close to folks watching them.
I was at Mackanaw Island at that time
Finally someone who hit it square on the first shot.
💪
What kind of .223 are you using to make the paper target explode? In the service our shots made pencil sized holes.
There is a water bottle in front of the paper, any round hitting it will make it "explode" messing up paper target
Ty, I didn't see it, but that makes sense
what did you do to fix the short stroke problem. my rifle was doing this today with 62 grain wolf in a mandp sport 2.
It was new build, first time at the range. Adjustable gas block wasn't open enough to ensure cycling. Once I opened the gas block, rifle cycles without any issues. Does your rifle cycles other ammo (US commercial made, 5.56?). Keep in mind Wolf is not full power, so it might not cycle when rifle isn't over-gassed.
mj7100 yea I think it is the wolf cause the rifle works fine with other ammo. tulammo though keyholes all the time for me in my mandp.
So stay with US commercial ammo, might be more expensive, but more reliable. I have a bad feeling about tula, so I don't use it. Freedom Munitions have decent prices so does SportsmensGuide and PalmettoStateArmory. Just need to look around on the web and hopefully seller ships to where you live.
What bullet weight and style of .223 ? What was distance from target?
55gr Hornady v-Max factory load at distance of about 100 yds. 20'' barrel with 1/9 twist.
Did you actually read the description? It gives all that information.
its the only round i use !
59.5 grains of imr4350 and I run a 26inch 1in12 twist barrel
270 got a new scope so it was its day to shine; 3006 was waiting patiently at home. That's some 'warm' load for 3006 :)
Get a 3006. I shoot 168ggn bullets @ 3025 fps 4inch group@600 meters
I bet the air smelled pretty fruity for awhile.
Same difference :)
Same difference :)
it's both, single action is more accurate since there is not too much of a trigger pull, and trigger breaks at with very little pressure, double action takes some trigger travel to fire it.
I've got a 686 with the 6" barrel too. It's the best revolver ever!
