初めてこの校歌を知ったけど、凄く良いですね。

Generally nice, but there are missing in this 'Vol 2', some Chorus sections, played by some other conductors or directors in the likely more complete work, I think, than are included here, for example, after a Quartet, "Since by man came death", there is a short Chorus, "By man came also the .............", and somewhat similarly, after the Quartet, "For as in Adam '...............". And later, following the Duet, "O death, Where is thy string ...........", there is, when conducted by some others, a short Chorus, "But thanks be to God .........."

Conductor, director, or whoever, has a good sense and feeling for the speed or tempo which each Chorus piece should proceed at, in my opinion, which is rare for this music. Generally very nicely done, and hoping the group will make, if they haven't already, a 'Vol 2', etc. The higher tones, of the higher-note singers, seemed to come through better or heard by me better during and after, "His Yoke is Easy", which the chorus and orchestra seem to do especially well -- indeed, 'without burden'.

Oh my goodness, I am so glad you recreated this, I am about to cry as this was one of the most memorable themes of vacation back in my days....

Thank you so much, I’ve been looking for the music honestly for years. It brought tears to my eyes, as I remember as a child enjoying the long flights on Singapore Airlines to visit my grandparents in New Zealand. It’s amazing how many emotions can be brought up by safety video music.

Does anyone know what the background music is called? It's so calm and relaxing.

My childhood 😢

I love this. Reminds me of when I travelled with Singapore Airlines back in 08 and 09 to Pakistan. I miss flying with them. I've seen the new safety video, it's OK, but it's not as good as the old one. The old one is nostalgic for me and a lot of people I reckon.

日本3大校歌は、「都の西北」の早稲田、「白雲なびく駿河台」の明治、「都ぞ弥生＜正確には寮歌＞」の北大です。明治校歌の作曲は、 童謡「赤とんぼ」の作曲者の山田耕筰先生。東京6大学野球は、プロ野球よりもかなり歴史が古く、昔は6大学野球が全盛でプロではなく6大学のみを全国放送（ラジオ？）していたので全国的には特に年配の方に、早稲田、明治の校歌が知られているのも有名になった一因なのかもしれません。
