We are travelling around Australia in our motorhome.

Travel in a motorhome is a bit different to most other forms of travel. Travelling with a dog has its challenges. We don't tow our 4wd but drive it separately.

ALBANY, WESTERN AUSTRALIA, Series 1, Episode 22
We explore beautiful Albany, it's fantastic and picturesque beaches, it's incredible National parks, it's lookouts, and we take a detour to stunning Denmark and visit yet more outstanding beaches - Green's Pool and Elephant Cove. We'll be back because there was so much more to see. One of our favourite places so far (except the weather!)

We leave Perth after a short break over Christmas and head down to some of Western Australia's most iconic beaches and towns. Bunbury, Busselton, and Cow City Cowaranup is a must see with all it's cows. This episode we head south, visiting Coral Bay where the snorkeling was a little disappointing around the bay itself due to recent bleaching, Kalbarri, which is always awesome, and the Pinnacles, one wired but wonderful place! We then head further south to Perth we're we wait out the school holidays before heading further south still to South West Western Australia.

Jen, Simo and Stella head north again via the beautiful Hutt Lagoon were we finally get to see one of Western Australia's pink lakes in all it's glory. We travel to one of Australia's iconic mining towns to catch up with our son in law, then experience what every traveller dreads - a tyre blow out. Stuck in the middle of nowhere, we eventually get going again, head into Meekatharra where we get a new tyre before heading on to historic Cue, where we visited the ghost town of Big Bell, Walga Rock, and literally get blown away!

Barn Hill, Port Hedland, and Marble Bar; Series 1, Episode 12; heading south but the heat follows us

The journey continues as we head further north with the heat on our tail. We stay at Barn Hill station and are so impressed we extend our stay and run out of food! Then on to Port Hedland, not known as a tourist mecca but a facinating place to visit with juxtaposition of nature and heavy industry. Of course we have to visit Marble Bar, Australia's hottest town. Enjoy legends!
Broome; Series 1, Episode 11: LIVING ON THE ROAD FULLTIME

We return to Broome to check out all the sites and scenes we missed the first time - Coconut Wells Rock Pools, Cable Beach Sunset, and the beautiful Roebuck Bay Red Sands Beach.

We base ourselves once again in Kununurra and head west along the Gibb River Road, visiting Zebedee Hot Springs. Then as the clock ticks and we have to pick up Stella the pug from pet sitting, we visit to often overlooked Grotto on the Kununurra Wyndam road. Next day with Stella in toe, we head to Wyndam, Five Rivers Lookout and the infamous Boab Prison Tree on the King River Road. Spectacular.
Lake Argyle BBQ boat Series 1, Episode 9: LIVING FULL TIME ON THE ROAD

This episode Jen ticks of another major item off her bucket list - the Lake Argyle BBQ Boat Trip. We have a breakfast fry up, champagne of OJ, on the water and witness a spectacular bush fire. Then take a dip in Lake Argyles deep waters. This place is awesome.

$45 p/n for a powered site is a bit rich. The place is nothing special. There are free camps just a few k's away .

How much was it per night and how much in advance did you book? ❤
It's not cheap - $50 pn power and water. We booked about a fortnight out, but we were not there during peak season. During school hols I'd try and book well in advance.
Loved this guys..brought back lovely memories of Bullara . The scones looked huge..we missed out as only stated one night. No damper night when we were there and dinner booked out..next time maybe ❤😂😊😊

Hi. We have a motorhome and have realised we need a car to take with us so we can actually get out and see more. If you don’t mind us asking … We were wondering what made you decide to drive your car instead of having a tow car?
We had our 4wd before we left. We didn't have a tow bar and to set up properly for towing we would have to spend quite a bit of money - up to 14K and then have to swap the triton for something a little smaller like a Jimny. Keeping the triton also allows us to take more stuff (space soon runs out in the MH when it's your full time home. We have a second battery system in the triton which we can charge with solar panels and then feed that into our MH batteries. It is more expensive fuel wise, but when we compare the fuel use to those that have big rigs - 22 foot caravan and RAM or F250, we use about the same amount of fuel. MH about 15l per 100ks and the triton abt 10l on average - so a total of 25l per 100ks. Still a lot, but worth it we think. We may look at a towing set up later when we've done a couple of laps. Hope that helps!

From memory, which is not great, they are; Yallingup, Quinns Dog Beach, Hillary's Dog Beach, City Beach or Peasholm Beach, Leighton Beach, South Fremantle Dog Beach, C Y O'Connor's Dog Beach, Jervois Bay, Rockingham/Kwinana Beach, and Secret Harbour. Hope that helps!
