Breaking Wood
Canada

Heisenberg Forest Products is family owned and operated. For us cutting firewood is not just a job. It's about being outdoors, working with nature and being self-reliant. Nothing beats the satisfaction of standing back and admiring that big pile of wood we just cut! We only sell clean, quality firewood which is cut, split and corded by hand. We only buy the highest quality logs from local distributors. We sell our wood by the face cord. A face cord measures 43 cubic feet. Each log measures approximately 16" in length. Our wood is stacked 4 feet high and eight feet long in a single row. The price for a face cord of wood varies by the type of wood and the time of year the wood is being sold. Contact us for availability and pricing.
I think i found you to late, did you already sell the ultra? Wish i couldve found you sooner, glad your happy with your change sir
I just started watching your channel. I have enjoyed your content.
A little less talk, and lot more action.
I know I talk too much, was an educator in my past life. Thanks for the suggestion.
@@BreakingWood68 😂 That completely explains it!!! I came across your channel, and got all excited because I noticed that you have a nice, and organized woodyard. I was expecting some action, lol. I will definitely check back. I just like to see people succeed at what they do,…and also as to how they do it. My eyes and ears are always open to new suggestions, if you know what I mean.
hey buddy! was curious if you deliver whole logs?
No we do not.
Wood yard looks good!
thanks my friend. Hope you are having a great day.
So awesome that you are selling wood hard to find 😊
thanks for the kind words. Hope you are having a great week.
Hi, how are you liking your new ultra splitter?
I love it. Can't wait to start using it as soon as things dry up.
For your leaning stacks, put a racket strap on and you should be able to move it without loosing it. Cheers
that is the plan bro. Hope you are having a great week.
You definitely have a big woodyard. You need something on the side to keep them from falling over. Maybe t-posts with pallets over them sideways
they only fall over in the spring because of the freeze-thaw cycle.
Just found your channel this morning please keep posting videos I'm close to you here in Ontario Canada I'm over on Manitoulin island Ontario 😊
I’m new and learning about the firewood business. When you stack all that split wood does it stay Un covered rain or shine ? I’m just trying to understand the seasoning process. Thanks !
We don't bother to cover our wood, it would be a lot more work and cost more at our end.
Good job buddy . Where ya at . I am in Ohio
Thanks, I'm in Northern Ontario.
Seems more people are going to wood heating and cooking What do you think ???
It's been a very slow season out our way. I think many people are cash strapped and can't buy a whole bunch of wood all at once. We'll see what this year brings.
Hi, how did you like your new ultra splitter ?
I love it!!! I haven't used it much yet and on Saturday my brother was the one using it. Planning to use it this week to finish off the job. Thanks for your comment.
You get a good amount for a face cord. Even with the exchange rate it would be $120 US.
How much are you getting for a facecord of hard wood?
@@BreakingWood68 I have not sold bulk wood yet. Hoping to do that next year. Prices range from $65-85 per facecord.
@@adirondackwoodsman wow, I pay that off the truck in log length.
That is a nice looking splitter!!! I like it!!
thanks for your reply Chris. I'm watching one of your videos right now.
I stack all my logs the correct way for the processor too, butt to the wedge. I have 3 log rows so I also stack them by diameter so that I can run the 4 way or 6 way wedge depending on diameter. This makes it easier to keep the splits a consistent size. My log yard is also wet as heck and today I just finished processing all the logs I have on hand so it's time to expand the yard. I have lots of room but everything just needs organized better for flow of logs and splits. I drove thru Verner a couple weeks ago travelling from Manitoulin Island to North Bay for work. I wanted to stop at Kate's but was in a rush. Great place to eat. Hoping you have a freeze up soon.
thanks for your comment my friend. Can't wait to get back out there. Looks like at least another week of waiting for me. Kate's is one of my favourite restaurants.
Beautiful setup
thanks.
Would love that much room in my wood yard.
I'm very fortunate. Bought the land from my father over 30 years ago.
How many cords do you process in a year 👍🏰🚀🚜🪵🇨🇦
It varies.
Nice size wood lot, lots of wood, lots of work 🪵🚜🚀🏰👍
yep, it's a great hobby. Thanks for commenting and have a great week.
Nice woodyard!! , let me share some advise I got from a old man when I got in the firewood business, be intolerant towards difficult customers as they cannot be satisfied, if its not the scale or the moisture content it will be something else and they will badmouth you anyway. Most of the time firewood is a sellers market as it runs out every year😢You can chose your customers😊.
certainly makes sense. No matter what I do there are some customers I can't please.
You get 160 a face cord ? U live in 🇨🇦
I live in Northern Ontario Canada.
Hi, I’m looking for a conveyor to go with my ultra…. Hope it works good for you.. is that $160 plus delivery for maple??
we do not deliver but work with a colleague who does that work for us for an additional price.
Hi. That’s a great splitter! Are you in Ontario?
Yes in Northern Ontario.
@@BreakingWood68 I live by Burks falls. Did you get a chance to try out your new conveyor yet?
@@Ridgewood460 I started it up and threw a couple of pieces of wood on this. Had to adjust the belt. Not planning to use it right away because I'm still using my processor. On my way out now. I love everything about producing firewood. Hope you are having a great day.
Very nice! Congratulations!
can't wait to start using the new conveyor.
Yup put poly on our chicken coop, nice conveyor, happy Thanksgiving 👍
Yep, we cover our coop with poly for the winter. Our chickens spend most of the winter outside.
160? A face cord. Wow you must be by a major city.
No we are located in Northern Ontario.
Nice wood piles 👍🇨🇦
Thanks 👍
Very nice! I am picking up my 12-22 the beginning of November. I can’t wait! The was up to Perth last month to pick up my conveyor. I posted a tour of the factory. You have an amazing wood yard. Where are you located? I just sub’d
I'm located in Northern Ontario.
I went up in September to pickup my axis Chris from tupper lake
@@LeBlancfirewood congratulations! How do you like it so far?
@@adirondackwoodsman had a couple issues with it at first now I really like it
Liked and subscribed Aloha and Mahalo 🌺🤙🌺
Awesome! Thank you!
Eastonmade??? Could it be??
oh yeah, finally got my Ultra. Can't wait to use it.
Ha... i gotta process into December.. still have 1200 cords on the books and they call every day
wow, that is great.
People out here hate poplar till the temperatures drop and its the only thing dry.. then they tell me how great it is and how much they love Poplar...lol
poplar has it uses.
How do you like the Cord King? Can you do a video of it in action.. and explain in detail of its capabilities.. please include what you like and dislike please.. thanks
I will at some point. Just have to get a camera person to help me. I think Millstone Firewood has one. I absolutely love my Cord King. It's a simple but awesome machine.
I sell my 1 foot wood for the same price as my 16" but i explain to my customers that need 12 inch that its the same amount of work thats why the price....
makes sense. Never thought of it that way. As long as the customer is aware that they are buying less wood I think it is fair to sell it that way.
Nice yard there.. lots of room for growth
Thank you.
