    Wilt can kill a goat...not sure of your sheep/lamb... In case one does die of?...needs to be dried

    • @Fourbrothersfarm
      @Fourbrothersfarm 2 місяці тому

      Explain “wilt”, you’re saying just a wilted plant? Appreciate the info - with as much foliage that falls from trees and wilts in the ground that they eat, it seems like this could be hard to avoid. Typically they are eating all of the branches we put in this feeder in under a day’s time, so should be safe.

    I do. I have chickens and dogs, I never throw it away. I have 30 falling garbage cans in different parts of the yard that I throw sticks and leaves and cutting and then I throw the fresh dog poo in it. I drilled holes in the cans so worms crawl up inside and break everything down. The next spring on the top 3-4” has not been mulched by the worms, I dump it out, separate the mulch and throw the top layer back in. By far the easiest way with no turning. Fast mulch, no, but I have several cans going at once and I can dump and take the mulch anytime

    • @Fourbrothersfarm
      @Fourbrothersfarm 2 місяці тому

      Very interesting, I had always heard dog poo was a no go, but that’s awesome it has worked for you!

    • @zapperbunny1
      @zapperbunny1 2 місяці тому

      @@Fourbrothersfarm it’s a no go if your dogs have illness or parasites. Mine get ivermectin and Panacure monthly, they could eat raw pork with no issues…but if I gave them pork it still would have spent at least a week in the freezer and an ivermectin beforehand.
