Your Dad forgot to tell you about the team’s private tour of the U.S.V.P.’s office and the White House where the team ate some of the US president’s cookies after their National Championship! And just to clarify, the athletic gene skips generation so you obviously got it from your Papa 😘! One serious note for parents of athletes who are injured. The athletes’ devastation is surpassed by their parents’ anguish. Seeing your child struggle and in pain is awful. So advice from an old guy…be patient, be loving, and recognize the discipline and drive it takes to be a collegiate athlete makes your children strong human beings. Have confidence in them. ❤️
