These knives are cool. I’ve got a couple & a couple of the bigger ones. Been looking at some budget flippers.like civivi(they are selling a bunch these days) but the pocket clips bend & unlike most knives that get a bent pocket clip…you do NOT get 2-3-4 chances to bend them back into place. You never feel the 2nd bend & you later realize that it is Just gone.That sucks. Haven’t carried any of my onions lately ..maybe I’ll back burner any new knives until I figure out the pocket clip situation that I have gotten myself involved in.lost 3 original civivi paraxis knives & a 4th with a damascus blade is MIA. I suspect it’s in the couch. Clip again. Thankfully I wasn’t in the middle of a loong hike or similar like when the others went missing. In the woods. Never had any problems with breaking parts but Thx for the reminder of how good the spring assist is. Those in particular. Take care.

That's definitely an old model the butterfly on it is old and the shape of it and I've never seen one with that type of button so that's definitely one of the first ones! I had an AFOII in my first collection that was the Toronto style that was about 12:14 years ago and it was like the one I bought three or four years ago and neither one of them are like the ones you had mine have jumping around the swell like you mentioned. So I guess they really have improved it from the original. I like it I think it's a good knife.

I have that exact same knife that was given to me by an old fellow when I was a kid. He played a trick on me, blowing on the end to make it open. He said that if I get it to open, he’d give it to me. I tried and tried, blowing on the end of that knife for what seemed like an hour before I accidentally opened it 😂. I played that same trick on my two sons when they were little.
