I’d usually just see the show when I stayed up to watch Metalocalypse, and I didn’t think much of it. Then I saw the episode where Joe narrates the movie and I laughed so hard my sides hurt. Especially when you hear Orel say “You ruined my movie…” in his sad voice. I was hooked after that.

i feel like stephanie is the only objectively good adult in the show. (there are others that might be but they dont have any backstory and they arent shown enough to actually know) the most ironic part about this is that the people in moralton would see her as the most immoral because of her sexuality and the place she works at. i absolutely love the depth to this show, it has the most amazing writing.

My favorite Putty scene is when he lets Orel go up on the podium and give his little speech about family. Not only is that an important moment for his self reflection and character development but he knew getting to play Reverend would make Orel so happy. People say he’s narcissistic and though he has some traits, he shows the ability to self reflect and think about others which I think makes him less narcissistic than say Orel’s father.

It's kinda ironic that some of the few wholesome moments in the whole series, apart from Orel's, are played by two of the characters with the most depressing backgrounds in the series, Joe and Nurse Bendy.

This is the first time seeing those Adult Swim-exclusive sermons, so after watching them I can officially say I have consumed every single fraction of Moral Orel content there is to know. I read the unused scripts, I watched Abstinence and Beforel Orel, I've seen every Adult Swim bump that mentions or shows it, so now, the entirety of Moral Orel knowledge is wrapped up in my brain just waiting to be dumped on some poor unsuspecting person who asks me about what my favorite show is I've watched lately.
