Oceanic Airlines Flight 762 - Landing Animation
Oceanic Airlines flight 762 was an international flight operated by a Boeing 747-121 registered as N-707CK from Sidney, Australia to Los Angeles, USA. The crew and passengers noticed that the plane carries a dangerous biological weapon, is a device prepared to release a deadly gas in 60 minutes previously putted by a madman . Captain John Prescott and first officer Kim McGee try to find a place to land immediately but the aircraft is still far away (2 hours of flight time left) to arrive at Los Angeles international airport LAX. Prescott decides desactivate the device himself receiving help from people on the ground from LA metro police. He know that is configured to release the gas ar certain altitude, any way, the crew start the descent. The enormous 747 lands finally at LAX just in time before the gas reach passengers and crew, one person, George Eller, died during the emergency landing. The person who tried to crash the plane committed suicide.

A plane hit a flock of geese and lost both engines as it was taking off in 2009. With no power, the pilot have to make a quick decision. Realizing he couldn't reach an airport he decided to land on the hudson river. He guided the plane down smooothly aiming for a safe touchdown on the water thd plane sucessfully landed, staying inttacked and afloat. Nearby boats quckly arrived, rescuing all 155 passengers and crew.

Explaination: so it was January 15 2009. And the US airways flight containing 155 passengers were due to fly from LaGuardia airport to Charlotte and Seattle. shortly after take-off, the Airbus A320 unfortunately struck a flock of Canadian Geese, loosing both of its engines. the plane was still responding to the pilots commands but they were loosing altitude. They weren't close enough to any airport to make an emergency landing on a runway so the pilots Chelsey Sullenberger and co-pilot Jeffrey Skiles made the decision of landing the plane in the Hudson River. It was a success. the plane glided into the river and stayed afloat giving enough time to allow nearby boats to rescue all 155 passengers. none died, no injuries - except the plane. This accident is now known as the "Miracle on the Hudson" and was late turned into a movie called "Sully".
