Humm?? Not sure about that… the front wheel is retractable, and with the angle/speed you land its very unlikely. As far as take off I can assure you the front wheel lift of the water as soin as you apply power.
Great, but looks a little under powered because it took awhile to get air borne off the water and with one person on board . Maybe a small canard wing up front along along with additional power would help . Can’t wait to see these with the more powerful electric motors and lite weight batteries. We had a converted VW engine on ours back in the eighties.
Yes, this test was made with a Rotax 914UL with a big bore kit 130hp. The intention is to sell this with the 915IS 141hp. You also have to consider that it was my first time in the water… I understand I have to improve my technic to get out of water faster… 😉 more test in the spring…
Have you looked into AC-Aero & their Higgs diesel Falcon FL200? I know an untried engine in a new airframe is a bit of a gamble, but they still might be worth some discussions.
Funny, I was thinking the exact same thing on the water takeoff. Quicker lift , less stall and more stable with mini canards on the outriggers. Hmmm...
That would be perfect to have at the house I'm looking at buying on the lake in the Ozarks. I could fly there off the airfield in my back yard here in Texas and put it down on the lake up there. Store it in a boat house with a lift and I'm golden. My delima has been there are no runways close enough to the lake house to be practical.
Nice flying machine. Amphibious gyro, very rare. BTW, your video quality can get better if you drop the dubbed in music and let the sounds of the aircraft do its things.
Good day! My name is Gennady. I love the floats! Did you fly together? Where can you buy and what is the price of these floats? On my Cavalon Rotax 914 and Polish rotor, I think it will fly well. Thanks to! I apologize for the electronic transfer, but I hope the essence is clear.
@@niallleslie7419 Hello! Thank you for your reply! If possible, tell me, are you satisfied with the flight and behavior on the Cavalon on floats? Thanks again anyway. Sincerely.
@@AutoGuro Thanks, you are quite clear. My application with the Puddle Jumper amphibious floats was in a small 2 seat Challenger micro light. I used them for approximately 250 hours before selling the plane and was happy with the performance since they are very cost effective. The only drawback is that there is no wheel suspension but the alternatives with suspension cost about twice as much. I would not hesitate to buy them again.
Really Congratulations. Wonderful car. I've been waiting for a long time to see an amphibious gyrocopter. It would be possible to know the performance: max speed, cruising speed, take-off distance over land, take-off distance over water, weight, range, fuel consumption. Is the engine Rotax 915iS? Flight impressions? Build it in series for sale?
+PONTONERFORE SAE PRISET?
Fantástic..!!
Le rêve de tous tripeux !!! combien il vaut sur les flottes ??? Que j'puisse continuer à rêver !!
Stupid music was'nt necessary.
Tremendous. Any reason why the floats couldn’t be higher?💛 basically Awesome… How much do the floats alter the flying characteristics?100lbs floats
Must be close to weight limit ?
If you're having problem with the weight, why can't you try to fill the float with hydrogen? I open for comment
Jdi pengen punya buat berangkat sekola wkwkwk "so I want to go to school wkwkw"
You really have rotate that rotor to get lift
Bad ass!! That thing is bitchin
Nice to have the option but you give up a lot of performance.
🔝🔝🇧🇷🇧🇷✌️👊🚁💨💨
Отличная машина!!! 👍👍👍
I would use a quad rotor for better control and more safety
Its like someone said "lets make all the most dangerous vehicles in one!" Sweet that it worked though.
What is your average cruise speed with the floats?
140 kmh
Can this also land on *snow,* and take off from it?
Впечатляет...!
wow! amazing build.. more videos like these love it.
that nose wheel is going to flip that aircraft someday.. (anything to avoid a complex rating.. but the rear wheels still come in).. [Half Baked]

Good video but that music sucks you should try some Greta Van Fleet instead
Hahaha yes maybe… good thing we are not promoting the music!!!! 😉
Nice video but didn't need the tacky music

I am with you looks under powered on water lift up hope they make changes but congrats to the company

Now with Rotax 916Is... not 914UL
Awesomeness 👍
Looks great for water skiing !

400 miles plus in a gyro-copter . 2 up. each way. bit underpowered

We will definitely do some more video in the spring!
Awesome
Can. You fly. With. One. Arm. And. Foot. ?
air shit!!
Neat. Good video. Now we'll all want one.
They are terrific!!!!
Поплавки самое то для автожира.
That looks great guys...
Very nice

For the floats see Puddle Jumper, in Canada. They specialize in amphibious floats for microlights and similar.

Im very satisfied with the behaviour
Where can I research this further? Like where to buy?
We are located in Canada. This was the first test. More test in the spring!!!
How much extra weight do they add?
67kg

you guys made that look easy ! I know boat planes and float planes that did not survive their first few flights!
Thanks!!! It was a blast… It was my first time in water…. I know I need to improve my technic for shorter takeoff
Beau montage, bravo ! ;-)
Super ca AirPro! Bravo
wow
