Actually my problem now is the boot screen is not appearing for me the one thing is showing now is “your os is damaged and so on” how can I reset all the system and the boot shows to me. Hi. If the chromebook the crash screen, you will need another computer to put the firmware on a usb drive then you put that usb in the crashed chromebook. If the chromebook does not show the screen, what does it show? If it shows nothing, try plugging the chromebook in to charge for a little bit and try pressing the power button or esc refresh power. The problem might be the sd card or something is wrong with the chrome os image. Try using a different sd card or usb flash drive or a different chrome os image. Skip to 4:38 if you need help on using a different chrome os image.

On my system, I did not run into any compatibility issues but some systems might. Everything I put linux on worked fine without compatibility issues.

And now I upgraded to Linux because windows 11 and maybe 10 is Spyware and I think Microsoft will do the same to 8 and 7 so Now i use Ubuntu 22.04

@@FJVossenberg open winaerotweaker and enable windows update from there. I disabled it because it can break some things. One time when I updated this mod it broke the theme. It says this in the readme.

If i can make it look more like windows 8 like the action center, logon ui, start screen, and more then maybe.

Also to change the icons back, make sure you are signed in to the windows 8 user, then open the documents folder, open windows 10 to 8.1, icons, then open 7tsp. In 7tsp, click start patching.
